Visited on a late Saturday afternoon. There is no official parking lot, but decent street (metered) parking in the immediate area.

The history of this place is pretty cool...they took over a discount (5 and 10-cent) store that had been there for over 60 years. They renovated the space. The space looks great...very spacious and modern with a few decorative nods to the old discount store.

There are lots of seats arounds: barstool and counters as well as standard tables and chairs. There is a little split upstairs section which has some additional seating.

You can see the brewing tanks on the lower level via viewing windows from the main area, which I thought was cool.

On the afternoon we went, they actually had a band there playing live music...mostly some classic rock which was awesome.

They do NOT serve food but you are welcome to bring your own. Many people seemed to have pizza boxes and items from the pizza place next door...I'm sure they get good business from here...its hard to stop the hunger crave when the alcohol kicks in...luckily the pizza place is steps away.

One minor gripe are the prices. Now I understand this is 2022 and supply costs, inflation, renovation costs, etc...affect the prices consumers pay in the end, but we paid $80 for 5 beers and 2 flights...about $9ish per beer and $15 per flight?!...after tip, it was almost $100 outting, which is not much different from being in Manhattan. I understand going out in 2022 isn't cheap, but this may be good to know for those expected small-town prices.

The staff there was very nice and...

Definitely what the downtown Westwood area needed! This brewery is well crafted, just like their beers. The vibe is really neat and the atmosphere inside is fantastic. I loved the names of the beers as it portrayed a very local feel. They do allow kids, which is great for people with kids to get out, but a tad annoying for people that don't. The building is made of brick so sound bounces and it makes it very loud inside. Almost to the point where is wasn't easy to talk to someone at your own table, thus having kids running around was not an issue on a busy Friday night. It was too cold to check out the rooftop upstairs but I'm sure that would have made for a more intimate date night feel. Overall, super impressed with the location, beer quality, selection and freshness, as well as the amazing staff to serve you. Parking is a tad tricky on the weekends, but if you don't mind walking a few...

Terrible service. I felt discriminated against. As soon as I went in, I went straight to the bar. I was waiting right next to a woman who was being served. When the bartender was done with her, she skipped me and served the guy who came after me. I even mentioned that I had arrived first. Neither the guy nor the bartender seemed to care. I thought it could have been a mistake, so I waited. She didn’t even look my way. When asking who was next, she picked another guy who had just arrived. I realized that she wasn't doing this by mistake. I don’t understand; I had just gotten here and hadn’t been mean to anyone. What kind of service professional treats a customer so unfairly? I came with my family. We just left the place. I'm not spending a penny here and will never recommend this place to...

Here at Five Dimes official grand opening day. Quite frankly, I'm not sure if that's good or bad move. We each had a flight of beers (four out of eight of their beers). Unfortunately, I liked only one of them. The Belgian Strong Blonde, called "More Good News" was pretty good. The others... not so much. After we finish our samplers, we're going to head on up to Pearl River where we know they have good microbrews. BTW - Five Dimes serves absolutely no food, however, they encourage patrons to bring food in from the outside. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
