I’ve been coming to Kevin for over 10 years. Since his move to Westwood, he’s implemented a new policy requiring you leave a credit card on file so that if you can’t make your appointment, you’re charged the full amount. I missed my first appointment in 10 years and he would not reverse the charge or budge even though I was able to get an appointment the very next day. It’s not like he’s booked weeks out for a men’s hair cut that takes him 20 minutes. I was furious when he wouldn’t relent, then his wife comes over for the tag team. I remained calm but I was fuming. I guess loyalty only goes one way. I hope the $40 was worth losing a client over, Kevin, although you didn’t seem to care. ✌🏼”I bet you won’t let that happen again” who are you my father? I visited Pure Hair Studio for the first time and had an amazing experience! The space is very relaxing yet chic. My stylist Meg sat me in the chair and spoke to me about what type of style I wanted and then, while my hair was dry, felt the texture and evaluated my waves to see what would work best. Then I had an amazingly relaxing shampoo and conditioner treatment! Meg was so professional yet so pleasant and easy to talk with. She explained the best way for me to style my hair and told me what products are best and which to avoid. Kevin is a genius in what he does and is beyond accommodating when it comes to your hair needs. I especially love how he & his creative team work together to make sure their clients are comfortable, confident, & satisfied with the results. Their professionalism & knowledge is abundant and you can ask them anything about styles, color, etc. The studio has a calming ambiance & it is spotless clean! It always feels so good to be there and know that they will take care of you (ex. give you yummy coffee) & make you feel beautiful when walking out!
