Until this past Thursday (August 19, 2021) I had always been happy with this locations... Then comes the bad story. I am ordering an avocado toast and a grilled cheese sandwich. Not even a long order. The Lady at the order stand understands the avocado toast but she seems not to understand the grilled cheese sandwich.. Peculiar. She asks me 5 times to speak louder as she could not hear me. Ok. I had to raise my voice volume. At that point she tells me not to yell at her ???? She also tells someone obviously behind her that I have an attitude...???? I was upset. I exited the line. Went in asked for the manager who starts making lame excuses. There I get even more annoyed. I convinced him to show he was truly sorry by calling her. I wanted an apology. I am a mature woman. I will not pass a situation where a teen will act as such. The Manager instead of telling her how inappropriate her behaviour was...he had her recite what she should have done instead. I was disgusted by the whole theater. Bye bye DD. This is also poor supervision because probably those headsets are ancient. Also...I am in corporate customer service...some 23 years of successful assistance and kind support to my own very demanding clients. The age is no excuse. This is a total screw up. I was so embarassed. I will never stop at any DD because I really felt patronized and dismissed. That is their culture and they can keep it.They care zero...one less in line. Thanks....
Read moreWent to pick up a mobile order at this Dunkin location. The order was accidentally put through as a walk-in, rather than drive-thru. Regardless, the employee at the speaker told us we could pull up to the window. Upon getting to the window, we were met with a woman in glasses, presumably a manager. She brashly told us we had set a walk-in order. We apologized for this mistake as she went to prepare our order, remarking that we had messed up their work flow. Although prior to our arrival the store was already very busy both inside and in the drive-thru. She also spat at us that we had simply passed by the speaker on our way to the window, to which we denied and told her we had stopped and were given direction to continue (another employee appeared to corroborate this fact). She gave us our order, speaking in a very petty and dismissive manner. As we pulled away, she again spoke to us rudely, remarking we should "not set it as walk-in next time". I, having worked customer service, understand how stressful it may be. But there is no excuse to treat a customer with this level of disrespect and to level allegations (especially when they are categorically and verifiably untrue). We were nothing but sincere in our apologies and respect, and were met with a unjust resentment and disrespect. Very...
Read moreI knew I shouldn't, but did anyway. I've avoided this Dunkin' Donuts for some time because the staff are grumpy; I actually wait until I am in Boston to get coffee, even though I walk by this one to get to the train in the morning.
This afternoon I figured I'd give it a shot: that was a mistake. I walked in and made direct eye contact with an employee having a conversation with a friend/ customer. I stood at the register for a bit before I made eye contact with two other employees (who continued doing what they were doing). One employee came in from a smoke break, walked by me and stared conversing with the others. The customer/ friend then let her friend/ employee know that someone was waiting to order. The employee/ friend continued the conversation. I walked out without a coffee and into 7-11 to get one (where I served myself and had a pleasant interaction with the cashier).
I saw 5 employees while I was inside, none of them could even say "we're all busy, we'll be with you in X". No acknowledgement whatsoever. The owner is paying what appears to be too many staff to give ZERO customer service.
I will NEVER go to this Dunkin'...
