I’m a loyal Starbucks customer and have been to various locations in my area. This is by far the worst one. I’ve given the drive-thru multiple chances and it’s the slowest one I’ve ever been to regardless of how many cars there are.
I stopped here on 8/31/19 and noticed the drive-thru looked slow per usual so I decided to go inside for the first time with my sister. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was FLIES. EVERYWHERE. So disgusting! I’ve never been inside a Starbucks that had a fly problem. I’m not exaggerating- at least 10 of them. I was so disgusted but really needed some coffee so we ordered right away (absolutely no line inside). My drink was made within a minute and we waited at least TEN minutes for the second drink. 2 more customers were able to order and receive their drinks before I finally spoke up and asked what happened to my second drink. The barista asked me what it was and then looked at the printed stickers and realized she forgot to make it. An apology would have been fine- I get it people make mistakes. But she didn’t even say sorry or look at me. She replied “oh here it is”. She made the drink and handed me it without a word.
I also wanted to mention that while I waited the man that was taking drive-thru orders made it a point to take off his headset and cover the microphone piece so he could mock the customer about her questions regarding gluten-free menu options. I could hear everything he said and it didn’t phase any of the employees that customers can hear them having inappropriate conversations.
Their store is unsanitary with all of those flies landing on open food and drinks, the drive-thru is a disappointment, and on top of it all the customer service is terrible. I won’t be returning to...

They are amazing my more recent experiences at the Glendale heights location has been so disappointing. They have had maybe 2 good encounters since I've newly moved my office in the area. I hope it get better.
One of my experiences with them was I order a roasted ham, No egg and no cheese and they gave me a sandwich with No meat. It was just a cheese sandwich. It can be an easy mistake but how the 2 young ladies at the drive up window behaved with lack or professionalism was odd. They didn't speak to me, didn't do the basic customer service run down. I stop there yesterday for my coffee and i was asking him to reload my card and he was talking with one other employee and they bought were having great time obviously and i have to Please him to reload my card.
