Woods Ice Cream — Restaurant in White Haven

So, on the way home from Hickory Run, someone mentioned ICE CREAM... I didn't realize there was a location so close to us in White Haven, and their current hours state they are open until 10pm! I had their ice cream before, but only from their truck, not an actual location... they have so many flavor choices I'm sure anyone can find what they're in the mood for! I settled on a chocolate and peanut butter sundae, and it was as good as I would expect. I love the peanut butter topping... the bunch of us also got the Oreo cookie with vanilla ice cream, and the typical vanilla with sprinkles. All gone in almost no time flat. We have been going to Wood’s Ice Cream in Whitehaven for 18 years and have never had a bad experience, until now. The medium soft ice cream was served in a medium cup but the cup was half full and when I asked if that was a medium, the server said their servings have gotten smaller. Then my wife got a medium cone of hard ice cream and the amount of ice cream on the cone was less than what would be expected for a kid’s cone. When she complained the server said they were busy. As if they did not want to run out of ice cream. This used to be a go-to-place for us in the Poconos but not anymore. Edited: I came at 7:55pm, when they close at 9pm. No one was at the window and wouldn't respond to the knocks on the window as instructed to do by the sign. There was loud music playing inside that made it impossible to hear the knocks. At 8:05 an employee appeared in the back, saw me at the window, and looked surprised and ran away. At 8:10 the employee reappeared and I was finally asked what I wanted and served my ice cream. It was pretty sad but I really had my heart set on it...
