We were there for our son's wrestling tournament of champions on Feb 8th.We were going out to eat but the kids started playing in the pool and had fun so we decided to stay and we decided to just order from the fusion bar located in the hotel. it was after 5:30 and the sign was still blocking the entrance when they were supposed to have opened at 5 o’clock there were people working but seem to have no idea what they were doing. I finally moved the sign and walked in and asked if they were open they were only a couple people in the bar and restaurant area. They said yes we are open so I proceeded to put my order in the younger boy that was working asked me for my card and said they could not start the food without me paying first which I thought was weird but I went and got my card and paid for our food in advance. I told them I would be back to check in in about 20 minutes to a half an hour to see if our food was done. Came back between 20 and 30 minutes later they said our food was still not done by this time the bar and restaurant was starting to fill up there was someone singing live music in the back. Made sure that they had our order they said yes and I said fine I will be back again second time I came back it was about 630 (other people in the resteraunt and bar were clearly being served their food) but they said it still wasn’t done and blamed it on the chicken wings. I got six chicken wings I’ve never heard of cooking them that long but I said OK fine we decided to sit at the table and wait we were with another couple. Slowly our food started to come out (over an hour after ordering) we got A large pizza but they did not have large so they brought out two smaller pizzas. This was for the other couple. Then the chicken strips and french fries came out for one of the kids I grabbed the french fry cause I was starving by this point and they were cold not even a little warm and so were the chicken strips. I took the plate back to them and said these are cold I would like fresh food we’ve waited forever. Next came out the hamburger for my grandson the bun was Burnt she said we will be bringing you out a new bun my grandson was starving so he took the burnt bun off and took a bite the hamburger it was raw in the middle and cold to touch. I took it back yet again and said this is not Cooked at all in the bun is burnt. I said I don’t want anything else and they apologized never even brought my husband‘s food out and said they were going to reimburse us. Because my friends who were at the table had a tab they argued with them because they said they were reimbursing the table and never charged them for the pizza or salad d they got. I had already paid for my food so I assumed I would be getting my money back Once it was no longer pending. my total came to $48 and some change about a week and a half later my husband showed me our bank statement and said not only did they not take it off they charged us more the amount was 54.48 I called the Ramada two or three times the first lady Jill walked a Note back to the fusion bar explaining what had happened and that I would like my money back that they promised. And that they charged me more than my original bill was to begin with. Week later still nothing called again was told by a younger man that answered the phone he could not help me that it is separate from the hotel called a third time got Jill again she gave me an email for Kim Porter who is The fusion bar manager I emailed her February 24 she emailed me back on the 26th And said she would look into this today is March 4 she still has not responded yesterday I emailed her again and said are you still looking into this this is ridiculous. At this point it is principal. Not only did they charge me for food we didn't get or couldn't eat they charge me more than my original bill, we didn’t get to eat anything We were all starving from driving up there and by the time the fiasco was finished it was too late to really go out and eat we had to be up early for wrestling in the morning. as of right now 3/4...
