I ordered my Blizzard through the drive-thru. First, I noticed the cup was damp, and when I looked at my hand, there was melted ice cream all over my fingers. I thought the person who made my Blizzard was just messy and dribbled ice cream down the sides of the cup while making my Blizzard. I placed the cup in my car's cup holder while I drove home. During red light stops, I checked my Blizzard and noticed a pool of melted ice cream was forming in the cupholder. I wrapped napkins around the cup, but the melted ice cream pool got worse. When I arrived home, I examined the cup and discovered a puncture opening on the side of the cup, which appeared to have happened while the Blizzard was being made. The puncture was large enough that it couldn't have been missed by the worker after making the Blizzard because ice cream was leaking from the punctured opening, and there was melted ice cream all on the outside of the cup, as I stated earlier, when the Blizzard was handed to me. I will admit the DQ must have been short staffed that day due to the long wait in the drive-thru line and how rushed the drive-thru window staffer's voice sounded while taking my order. I don't usually have an issue with ordering at this DQ, BUT after this experience, I think I need to refrain from going there for...
Read moreWe unfortunately had a bad experience today at this location when I went to grab 2 small vanilla cones for my daughter and I. We initially went through the drive thru. I originally asked for 2 small vanilla cones which were wrung up as 2 small chocolate dipped cones. When I received my receipt I inquired about the fact that the order was wrung up incorrectly and was told that the small vanilla and chocolate dipped were the same price. I then came inside because I knew this not to be true.I was then ignored until our cones began to melt. And then ridiculed because I requested a refund for the difference of the cones. The cashier never gave me a new receipt she just tossed the change at me. What was supposed to just be a quick little Mommy and me moment for my daughter and I on a beautiful day, was turned into something a little ugly. And even though this location is closer than most, I will not...
Read moreI have been going to this Dairy Queen for a very long time, but recently (the past few years) I have received extremely poor quality food and ice cream. The waits are crazy long no matter how many cars are in the drive thru. This is not something that I would normally care about except that it seems they make the ice cream as soon as I order and it sits there for 15-30 minutes while I wait to get to the window. In the past 10 times I’ve visited they have only made my blizzard correctly 1 time. I normally order extra candy and there is never enough even for a normal blizzard, let alone for the fact that I pay for extra. The ice cream is ALWAYS melty. Everyone who works there is nice enough, but it seems they don’t care much about representing the company name. I’ve gone back many times hoping for the quality I know this location used to have and it seems...
