Taqueria Dos Hermanas — Restaurant in Whitehall

I hardly ever reviews for businesses, but I felt that this business deserved a review! I did have high expectations as the stars & reviews are quite high & i was NOT disappointed. I am in my first trimester & this has been the ONLY meal i have been able to keep down! The birria is so good & flavorful, as well as their tacos, everything is seasoned to perfection and you can taste the love in the food! I loveee the addition of the grilled onions on the side! I tried to go on a Sunday but they weren’t there so be aware they may be closed on Sundays! but if you are ever in the area me and my unborn baby HIGHLY recommend! I crave this every. single. day. I havent come across a BOMB food truck since i lived in South Carolina but this def has to be the BEST food truck...

It's fine I guess. Truck is in an empty parking lot which isn't a problem but is worth mentioning. Guy taking orders seemed like he didn't want to be bothered which I'm not going to take points off for since that's just my perception. Just seems that for a truck based off of two hermanas theres clearly a need for a womans touch with customer service. Onto the food. Burrito and quesadilla was purchased. Burrito is trash. Tortilla ripped before I started eating and the salsa HARD carried the dish. Which is unfortunate because the salsa comes with everything. Nothing else redeeming about it. However.....the quesadilla was fire. I guess the cheese they use or how they cook it must be amazing. I'd stick to that in...

The main reason for the two stars is because the cashier was kind. I Got the birria tacos and a steak burrito. The birria tacos were not good unfortunately the broth it comes with was full of oil and tasted old as well as the beef that was in the taco. I absolutely couldn’t finish one taco and wasted the rest. The burrito was basic and bland and the sauces given were not comparable to other Mexican places I’ve had. My partner also complained of constantly running into chewy pieces of meat while eating his burrito that he also didn’t finish. Maybe something else on the menu tastes better but based on what I got I would not eat here again....
