Update: Happened to be nearby and decided I would check The Sandwich Man out again. Coincidence that Brian was working by himself again. LOL!! This time I ordered the Sloppy Joe and the Chili Dog again. This time I got Baked Beans and Greens for sides. He deep fries the Hot Dog and then grills it and adds the sloppy Joe mix on top. It makes for a nice slightly crunchy hot dog with a slight crunch to it. The Sloppy Joe was on a premium bun and had great flavor to it. Yummy!!! The baked beans had a slight sweetness to them. Now on to the star of the show which was the Greens. They had a slight bite to them, so tasty with a bit of pork thrown in for extra goodness. This is the type of small business we have to support. Making great food with homemade goodness. Check them out, no disappointment here. Decided to drop in on this place today. It is a really small place but don't let that fool you. I met the owners Brian and Crystal. They have been open for around 3 years. Super friendly people. Brian is a barber by trade but he and Crystal decided they wanted to do something different. They have a small menu that covers a little of everything. I ordered a Sloppy Joe, a Coney dog and Onion Rings. The Sloppy Joe had a good amount of meat on it and the sauce was just a very little sweetness to it, super delicious. The coney dog was deep fried a bit and had some coney sauce and cheese and onion on it. Loved it, very tasty. Also got the onion rings which were outstanding. Love of going to these small places off the beaten path. They are there for the community. Everyone should definitely go check this place out and meet some super nice people.

This place picked a good name because it caught my eye from my love for sandwiches. It is hidden away within Whitehall, so I can see it being a decent travel for many people. All of the items on the menu looked appealing to me, but the menu needs work. It has items on it without any description of the items. For example, my turkey sub had banana peppers on them. I like banana peppers, but I know a lot of people who don’t and can see that being an issue. I ordered online through the business DoorDash partnership, which created a cold interaction with the person working there. He kept telling me to show him that I accepted the order on DoorDash, and asked if it was my first day since I couldn’t find the button. I then told him that I ordered the food for myself and his demeanor changed completely and was extremely nice and gave me the order. I have heard of DoorDash people scamming businesses so I understand his caution, but it could have been handled better. It would probably be best if he just asked if it’s a carry-out or a DoorDash order. I ordered a turkey sub, coney, and a side of coleslaw. The order was completed in 9 minutes, so keep that in mind if you have a far drive. The food was very good. Probably one of the best conies I have had. It was all very warm and flavorful and had the right balance of everything. If I’m in the area I’d like to try more of their menu.

I found this place randomly on Google.. Wow what a massive win!! My entire family was drooling over every item we ordered. We ordered a lot. How could we not?!?! The menu is simple but large enough to give great options. The staff was kind and smiling. After placing our order we waited in our car. Soon after a staff member brought out our food. When we got home we opened it all up and tasted each thing. The food was amazing. Everything was prepared perfectly, the burgers were cooked thoroughly, the hot food was hot, the cold food was cold. Nothing spilled on the drive home. We ordered the Rams burger, bacon cheeseburger with everything, onion rings, chili cheese fries, sloppy joe, jumbo coney dog with cheese and onions, and a garden salad. We are pretty picky about food and none of us had any complaints. Instead, we can't wait to go back. It will take some time to finish our leftovers 😅 the portions were extremely generous, especially for the $ tag.

I dont usually do this but today I had an amazing experience here. My colleague and I wanted lunch somewhere that was local and not a chain restaurant. After some Googling we found The Sandwich Man. We went there, placed our order, brought it back and were sitting here going on about how delicious this food is. I got the Steak Nachos and a Coney with Cheese. This is a great amount of food for the price.

A few things that really set this experience apart from what I encounter every day: -Great customer service. Friendly Staff willing to go above and beyond. -Good prices. For $10 I feel like I got a full meal. -What I expected from the Steak Nachos was that there would be Nachos, tiny steak pieces and nacho cheese poured over it to make it soggy while I drove back etc. What I got was This delicious cheese, steak, green pepper, and onion sauce in one container (obviously made from scratch not canned) and a box of chips to dip in the cheese or poir the cheese on. I am WAY more satisified with this than what I expected. For that reason, I can see what actually went into making my food and shaping my experience. -The Coney Sauce reminds me a little of Sloppy Joe which is awesome. Its a different taste/texture for me. Obviously this is made from scratch also. The hot dog was toasted instead of boiled or fried. This made it crispy and plump to bite into.

This whole experience was awesome. 10/10 I will be back to support...
