I normally don't have an issue with this Dunkin. However, this morning really irritated me.
I went to the drive thru and ordered my beverage. They asked me the first time, I gave my order and very clearly instructed "No whip cream" there was a minute long pause (not exaggerating) and then they asked me to repeat my order. I again gave my order and again clearly stated no whip cream. They repeated the order back to me and clarified "no whip cream" I told them the order was correct and pulled around to pay as instructed.
When I got to the window, they handed me my drink with whip cream all over it. I handed the drink back and told the person at the window (who was the individual I had spoken to the entire time while ordering at the drive thru) that I had requested no whip cream.
Up until this point, I wasn't bothered so much, afterall someone else could have made the drink, while he (the person who took my order and handling my debit card) took the order and forgot. Mistakes happen, I understand. However, the individual's attitude was extremely rude. He snapped at me "Mam, if you don't want whip cream you need to specify while ordering before hand." When I told him that I did specify. I specified twice and he had clarified and thus me clarifying a third time he was correct in "no whip cream" ... He turned and said something to one of the other workers who gave me an incredibly nasty look and all but shoved the drink into my hand. My one hand had been bandaged so I nearly dropped it. Then after a minute or so, they handed back my debit card, and shut the window without giving me a receipt I had asked for twice as well.
Look, I didn't think I was being unreasonable. I said no whip cream and had asked them to correct the order.
This is the first negative experience I've had here, however, I'll still come. But the next time I get attitude like that, I'll just go inside and speak to a manager. That was...
Read moreOrdered from drive-thru today. Order was filled and completed quickly. Only reason for any stars. Get home to find the ‘Boston Creme’ doughnuts aren’t ‘doughnuts’, they are very narrowly shaped ‘hearts’. There is far less area in the heart than there usually is in the regular doughnut. I think to myself...well Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and it is cheeky but somewhat cute, I guess. Then I take a bite...no creme. I take a second bite, also devoid of creme. The next 2 bites produce the same results. What I was left with was a straight piece of doughnut about 3/4 of an inch wide by an inch and a quarter long with a little creme in it. Thoroughly disappointed, I slice the second Boston Creme in half horizontally. What little creme is in it does not in any way justify calling this a creme doughnut, let alone a ‘Boston’ creme.!
If you are a true lover of the ‘creme’, I recommend passing Dunkin altogether and stopping by Egypt Star bakeries. There is one a half a mile south on the east side of 145. They really know how to fill THEIR doughnuts!
To ‘Dunkin’...I have enjoyed your doughnuts for most of my life, until the last year where I have had similar disappointments at 3 other locations. Dropping the ‘Donuts’ from your name to emphasize you are more than just doughnuts shouldn’t come at the expense of the quality of the product your entire company was founded upon. If you want to turn into just another Starbucks, then drop the doughnuts altogether. The other doughnuts in my order, blueberry cake and glazed, were less...
Read moreWent to drive thru sat and waited till the person was done socializing with the car in front. Then when I pulled up to order she said she would be right with me. 4 minutes later she came back. I ordered a large frozen chocolate with whipped cream and a large hot tea with cream and sugar. She read back hot coffee. I said no hot tea. Then she said do you want whipped cream, I said yes. I then. When I proceeded to the window there was a car at the window, her friend she was socializing with was behind, then me. The first car pulled away, they her friend pulled up. She handed him a coffee or some kind of drink. He did not pay for it, which I don't care about. But he sat there and she was hanging out the drive thru window talking to him for 5 minutes, she kept looking back at me, he did too. Finally he pulled away. She handed me the hot tea & asked if I wanted whipped cream again. There was 2 other people standing there. I made the comment that it would be a lot faster if you socialized after work. I drove home and I should not have been surprised that instead of hot tea it was coffee. Management should check on the people that are working at night. This is not the first time for extremely...
