We’ve tried this restaurant a few times. The food has mostly been fine. On this particular order, we got ghormeh sabzi with tahdig, which I really wouldn’t recommend — it had a very strange, overly cardamom-heavy flavor that didn’t taste familiar at all.
The service has never been great, but we’ve overlooked it since there aren’t many Persian restaurants around, and we’ve generally been happy just to enjoy Persian food. That said, I’m leaving this review because of the poor service we received this time.
In the past, we’ve experienced a few mix-ups or wrong orders, but we didn’t complain. This time, I had ordered fesenjoon to go, and as planned, they brought it after we finished our meal. When we looked at the receipt, though, it said “vegetarian fesenjoon,” so we told them. They apologized, and we waited another 40 minutes for what was supposed to be the correct dish.
I still wasn’t going to leave a review — mistakes happen, especially in small businesses. But later at home, when I went to eat the food, I discovered they had again given me vegetarian fesenjoon! After all that waiting, we still didn’t get what we ordered.
Really disappointing...
Read moreI recently visited The Persian Grille and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with beautiful Persian décor and soft music that set the perfect mood for the dining. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. We started with the appetizer sampler. Each item was bursting with authentic flavors and served with warm, fluffy Persian bread that was simply irresistible. For the main course, we ordered the chicken and lamb shish kabob. Both dishes were cooked to perfection—the lamb was tender and juicy, and the chicken was flavorful and moist. The saffron rice that accompanied our meals was aromatic and complemented the meats beautifully. The portions were generous, and the presentation was elegant. To finish off the meal, we shared a cup of Persian tea.
Overall, The Persian Grille exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a cozy ambiance makes it a good choice for anyone craving authentic...
Read moreAfter my many trips to the PG, I have to say this is my favorite restaurant. The staff is kind and very generous. There is really something for EVERYONE at the Persian Grille. Newcomers- I recommend the salad shirazi, mirza ghasemi, and if you like spinach- try the Nargesy. (appetizers) You can never go wrong with kababs. I recommend trying CHICKEN SOLTANI for the best of both worlds (ground chicken and the boneless) there is no charge for swapping out a ground chicken for a skewer of ground beef or whatever you want) The Kabob Soltani has a skewer of a BEEF FILET and ground beef. One of my favs. If you like sweets (or even if you really don't) TRY THE SHEREEN POLO! It comes with a whole large cornish hen and fluffy-hot basmati rice with some orange peel pistachio concotion on top. Delish! I hope this helps anyone deciding to come to the PG. Really- try it out! They have also doubled the "persian pleasure" with a...
