The food looked really well made and came out fast. I didn’t personally like the tikka masala — it was too sweet for me…and when I mentioned that, the server kind of went on about how it’s one of their most popular dishes instead of just understanding that it wasn’t for me. I wasn’t trying to be rude, it just didn’t match my taste. I appreciated that they let me pick from the small plates, and I chose the tandoori shrimp — it was super tasty and spicy. The samosas and garlic naan were also great, and my boyfriend really enjoyed his spicy tikka. What threw me off was at the end , the server asked if we had a cash tip. I said I’d be tipping on the card, but it felt weird to be asked at all, especially after that earlier interaction. I was going to tip either way, but I don’t think it’s okay to ask directly.
