McDonald's — Restaurant in Whitesburg

In one week alone I have had 2 orders given to me wrong. I received one order that I had ordered and paid for a medium fry and received a small fry with the rest of the order. On the 2nd order I had a mcchicken sandwich ketchup only and a chicken snack wrap no lettuce well needless to say the mcchicken was fully dressed and the snack wrap came with lettuce. Tonight I wanted a milk shake so I went to mcdonalds and ordered a strawberry shake easy order I knew it couldn't be messed up. Well lmao at 7pm 5 hours before a Friday night close they are breaking down the shake machine to clean it. It's a 20 minute job people and someone needs 5 hours to do it. My response was to ask why the machine was being cleaned so early. A good fesponse would have been cross contamination or they ran out of mix maybe the machine broke down please give me a good reason but the back drive said I don't know and I said do they know they could get into trouble for shutting it down 5 hours before close her response. ..she closed the window in my face and walked away. So now here I sit eating these old ass dry chicken nuggets that they probably dropped in the floor and spit on, wishing I had went to dairy queen and got a chicken basket and a big ass cold...

01/30/22 evening shift 1 car in drive thru lobby closed-Of course left out 2 orders of fries, double cheese burgers looked like they was put together by a toddler, one was completely apart in the bottom of the bag and the drive thru employee young black headed girl was very rude and definitely can tell she didn't want to be there and she made it very obvious. Mind you I called and spoke with the manager on duty on the phone and told him thinking they would atleast make it right with 1 double burger and the fries since I made it all the way to Jenkins mtn. So they had atleast 10 minutes to have the order ready. I get there they gave us the wrong order of someone else and the manager knew we was there didn't come to apologize or anything no one said sorry. and then gave the food that I touched to the people behind us. I am calling tomorrow morning and speaking to a day shift person this...

You know what? This place gets a lot of bad rap and I understand why. Sometimes they mess up, sometimes they're not looking up-to-par, sometimes its crowded and you sit there for an eternity, but you know what? It's McDonald's. It's a cheap, quick restaurant that everyone in town goes to and you can't expect five star service. I have had my fair share of aggravating experiences with them forgetting things or getting orders wrong but if you just walk in and let them know, I have found they are always nice, friendly, and willing to help you fix the problem. Most of those workers bust their behinds, and do the best they can, to keep that place running like a well-oiled machine.
