Mood- What food is Calgon for the Soul

So this day was already starting out rough. My alternator blew up and I had to be escorted down the ramp to the nearest parking lot. Now how amazing does life work, that the parking lot was right across the street from this restaurant. The universe gave me tacos to soothe my mind.

Upon entering was quickly greeted and asked if I had any questions. I had none as the aroma was sensational. If I could have ordered one of everything I may have been inclined to do so.

I opted for 8 of the Carne Asada Tacos. The gentleman being the counter asked if I wanted everything on them. I laughed and said well isn't that how it is supposed to be. He cracked up and laughed and said Muy Bien. At this point I knew it was going to be on point.

Now can I say these were amazing. 100%. Can I say the meat was tender and very flavorful. 100% . Can I say maybe I didn't really share my tacos. Most def!!!!

Interior is a great size. There are several seating arrangements. Music was playing in the background.

Would most def recommend- pricing was very reasonable. The quality and presentation had me. The customer service was very courteous and hospitable.

The food here is easily some of the best in town and much better than most. The carne asada in particular is worth the trip. Yes it costs a little more but the difference in quality is clear. We'd probably eat here more often but we find that 8pm close means doors locked by 730-745. So come early and don't push it on time if you looking to give them a shot.

I didn't know where these 1 star reviews were coming from so I swung by and grabbed a burrito to check it out. The meat is definitely not their normal stuff and tougher/lower quality, I suspect due to COVID-19 and those meat shortages you've probably heard about. Still happy to come as things still taste great. I will look forward to when they have better/can...

The food was ok a bit bland for carnitas and the lengua tasted kinda dirty i ended up getting horrible heartburn which i dont understand because the food was bland and didnt seem super oily. There's definitely better restaurants then this one. We paid 30$ for 10 tacos a drink and not so fresh beans and rice. The salsa area was messy and dirty the old man at the register didn't seem friendly and was very aggressive and nearly broke my husband's debit card repeatedly trying to swipe it.
