Anniversary in Ruins: Today was an utter disappointment, I had ordered a simple small chocolate cake with raspberry filling and topped with coconut pecan icing... This was for my 20th wedding anniversary, the cake was representative of our wedding cake...the lady on the phone was nice, she stated that they no longer prepare cakes with filling. I told her that was ok to please just sell me the pieces individually and I would put it together, cake, icing and filling...she stated that I could pick it up the morning of my anniversary. I arrived and the cake was already made and icing....I initially thought "how sweet..." but they informed me that not only is it NOT filled but they refused to sell me the filling I needed. this is simple....but now my Anniversary is in ruins, the owner/manager was rude.....I have supported this business for more than 15 years through events, birthdays, anniversaries...

Wichita falls cake boss, the family that owns this are an amazing bunch their employees are just extended family as well as regular customers. Ms. Marilyn is a true expert at not just at cake decorating but pretty much every aspect of her business. Theres few genuinely good people in the world but this family is definitely a talented genuinely good people. The recipes are all delicious, but they offer what no other business in wichita falls can offer family recipes made from scratch such as breads, pies, cookies, and other goodies that many people dont know about especially around the holiday season. I recommend this year yall trying one of their cream pies, or my favorite...

Usually this place has the best donuts in town, but last time I got 2 empty donuts that were supposed to be cream filled. I'm sure I'll forgive them and go back in a month or so, but right now the wound is still raw, lol, you know how it is when you have a craving! The staff is always so nice, it's hard to be mad. Update: Nobody's perfect 100% of the time. I totally forgave them. I love stopping by on occasion for super special treats! I bought tons of their Christmas goodies to take to parties and give as gifts. And we always make sure to stop in for donuts when my husband is home from military assignments; he loves...
