United Supermarkets — Local services in Wichita Falls

I think that the United Supermarket is fantastic. It is very appealing to ones eye the second you walk in and the aroma of all the fresh cooked food makes you hungry all over again, even though one might of ate previously so you don't over spend. The Pharmacy on the other hand, I must say is some of the most condisending staff I have ever seen. I admit that I am an opiate addict. I have been on Suboxone for 13 to 14 years and it has made a huge improvement in my life. But on 2 occasions I had to get my Suboxone Filled from my doctor in Denton at United Supermarket Iowa Park Road Wichita Falls. Evidently the head pharmacist there had dealings with me when he worked at Walgreens about 25 years ago I asked him if he needed you to see my driver's license and he said no I know who you are and slid my prescription to me it made me feel dirty and the way I used to be. I know I'm not like that anymore and I try to do the best I can and a lot of times I fail but I keep struggling to do better I'm 60 years old now and I don't feel like I should be treated like this just because he thinks I'm the person I was 25 years ago he should give somebody a chance the other girls that work there are pretty nice but the way that they have made me feel on two occasions I don't want to get anything feel there anymore. I guess if you mess up it during your life and make poor choices and you try your best to make up for that I guess you're condemned for life that's the way you made me feel when I went in there and I think that's wrong I think you should talk to him about this I have a mental illness and you don't treat people that way just because they're...

United is expensive but the quality is good. I only usually go for sales but the reason I do go is the service. Let me share this story...about 3 years ago we had a bad winter. A blizzard was coning and everybody was stocking up. The place was packed like I'd never seen. So when I get close to checkout the storm hits. The power goes off and emergency power comes on. It wont power the registers though. So everybody's looking around when the manager gets a bullhorn and tells everyone that due to the storm they can't check us out. He says he knows we need the supplies and the storms getting worse out there. So he tells us to just take our stuff and go home! He said to please make a list of what you got and when the blizzards over to come back then and pay for it. This really happened. There were lines everywhere and people just took the stuff and left. I came back and paid and saw many others doing the same about 3 days later. I don't care if they are expensive, when it comes to taking care of the people in the community they are by far the most down to earth people buisnesswise in this town. I will never forget how United saved my and about 125 or more peoples day and weekend that winter and always think good things about that place every...

Same as always. Great! Helpful staff! Professional in customer service! If u can't find what u are looking for? They will walk u over to it personally. And the folks. That take ur groceries to ur car are excellent. They are always polite and sweet. I have tried to give them a tip. But they always refuse. They say it's against company policy.
