El Tapatio Wichita Falls # 2 — Restaurant in Wichita Falls

Ordered a shrimp and pineapple fajita for take out. They gave me a plate full of carnage - drove the 10 min home only to realize my order was wrong - drove the 10 min back to have them fix the mistake and they didn’t offer me a discount or anything to make up for my time. Wasted 30 extra minutes of my Sunday afternoon. Not only was my time wasted but also the cooks who “remade” my food left meat products in the dish after I explained extensively that I don’t eat meat, nor want any meats other than shrimp. I did not feel taken care of at all as a customer and the experience overall was more than frustrating. The food wasn’t worth it considering I had to throw my meal out at the end of it all because I was finding chunks of unknown meats in the meal. Driving back a second time to ask them to fix their mistakes was out of the question. It feels very violating to be told I was only getting shrimp and then find mystery meat in the meal FOR THE SECOND TIME. Definitely not a dietary savvy place to eat. Would not recommend coming here if you have any dietary restrictions because apparently they aren’t taken seriously by the waitstaff and communication seems to be lacking on...

After arriving at our latest 1 night destination on our way back to FL, we were happy to see this restaurant close to our hotel. Actually, the clerk behind our hotel desk recommended it to us. (After 11 hrs of driving/riding) We were hungry! We ordered grilled jalapenos & onions as a quick appetizer. (You'd have to understand my jalapeno/onion obsession 😂) Seriously flavorful and so much that we have plenty left to add to any dish we have during the rest of our trip! I had the steak fajita salad- didn't know the bowl was fried, but it was delicious-- still kinda on vacay, so why not!? Fiance had 3 beef tacos with lettuce and tomato and enjoyed adding our appetizer to them. Complementary salsa & chips were delicious-- chunky salsa, which we prefer. Mango Margarita was very good. I rarely drink my calories as I LOVE to eat them, but our very good server proved successful at upselling it to me. Lol. Service was quick, & everything was on point. $45 for my fiances 2 large draft beers, my margarita and everything i'ved described - as in the pic. Would soo eat here again if we lived around here. 5 stars from us...

I literally get tacos here 1-2 times a week. I’m a regular there now. They know my name, they know my order. And they would get a positive review from me but I just had the most negative experience with them. Normally it’s whatever if they mess up my order, blah blah. But this guy I’ve never seen before. He was sick! You greeted me with him holding a tissue to his nose and then wiped his face with his hand. He took my card (which now I disinfected it) and then I WATCHED HIM MAKE MY DRINK. Dude didn’t wash his hands and he made my drink 😭 I’ve been coming here for a while and have never encountered someone sick while working in the food industry. This was very gross and I honestly don’t know if I want to come back. I’ve been coming here for so long and I’m just so glad he wasn’t a cook so he didn’t touch my food. But also they did get my order...
