Willie's Place — Restaurant in Wichita Falls

O. K. Alright! I'm happy right now because I tasted Willie's food here in Wichita Falls for the first time yesterday and to my pleasent surprise, it was even better than I ever thought it was going to be! Seriously! Since I had never tasted Willie's food, and didn't want to waste my money like I have several times here in and around WF, I only ordered 2 very small, inexpensive items - at first. Then, after having eaten one side order, I nearly chewed my fingers off on the next one as I tried to get every savory morsel of meat off of my Rib bone! Yes, the taste of that meaty rib meat was soooooo good that that bone was almost shining when I got finished sucking and nawing on it! As a matter of fact, my old man said he was almost afraid to throw the bones out to the dogs for fear that they may throw them back at him since I had cleaned even the smell off them! 😝 Because of the wonderful tasting food, for a reasonable price like Willie's offers, I WILL be their best and most frequent customer in the future . I have a problem eating out here in Wichita Falls because wherever I go, the food is always WAY, WAY too salty that was NOT the case at Willie's. Their food was so good tasting that I immediately ordered a BIG Basket of food to assure I had enough for my current meal AND for my midnight snack too! Seriously, the food was just that good so, for those who want good food, at a fair price, you MUST give Willie's a try. DEEE-LICIOUS! I was very happy with my purchases and want to let Seniors and those who may suffer from ⁷high blood pressure etc. and are limited to what they can eat, that Willie's is THE PLACE TO GO! I just wish they sold BEEF Ribs too. If they had, I definitely would have spent even more money there. GOOD JOB WILLIE'S! Keep up the good work so I can finally enjoy a meal whenever that I don't have to...

So this place used to be Stanley's number two. A barbecue joint that had a burger called the beanie Burger and the beanie Burger was somewhat of a family tradition. We used to get them before major games, or around holidays, or just when we didn't want to cook. As a young child the beanie Burger was his mythical food that my hometown had. Sadly Stanley passed away and the business is closed down. But Willie's place continues to tradition, in the same location as Stanley's number two they serve up amazing burgers and absolutely fantastic onion rings but they also keep the tradition of the beanie Burger alive while I haven't had one in 15 years so I honestly cannot say if it is how I remember it or not or if I'm just viewing it from Rose colored glasses. But what I can say is what I would probably not eat it again for another 15 years just out of Honor for my old family traditions and those family members who are no longer with us. It is an extremely delicious Burger and it makes me want to go back and try Willie's specialty burgers too. Well the old Stanley's might be gone the new restaurant that is in its place will no doubt be there for as long if not longer as the original....

Small cozy dine in or take out (also has drive up); delicious cheeseburgers - I had the kids size and my husband had mushroom Swiss. French fries were also good! I also enjoyed chatting with the owner who was friendly, professional and helpful when I asked a random question about locating a notary. The decor is really interesting and license plates all over! Definitely recommend and we will go back next time we are in Wichita Falls! They don’t have a public bathroom- owner has been trying to get one for years but permit won’t go through, so head to CVS first because you don’t want to miss the deliciousness and friendly service at Willie’s!!
