China GO XP — Restaurant in Wichita

So the first time i went here the food was perfect. Easily could be fed two people and I ate it all it was so good. The second and last time I went I ordered.2 meats w rice. The meats were pineapple ribs and general chicken. There was no one ahead of us in line when we arrived. We waited in the drive thru about 10 minutes if not longer. We got the food and it was still cold at the bottom. Like the microwaved old food. I live pretty far from the restaurant so I called to explain what was wrong with my order. I didn't even have to tell them who I was. I explained my food was called and the manager Isaiah says are u the one that had two orders for one car. I'm like yes, he chuckles and says I'm sorry about that I'm sending you a refund right now. I did get.my refund but the fact I called and he knew exactly who I was means he knew he gave us food that wasn't the best. So I will not...

I love love, love, love China Go XP! And this specific one located on 13th Street. First of all, the staff are always friendly and very helpful. When the owner is there, She is amazing as well. The portion sizes are huge, seriously enough food for two people when you order any one entree item with rice or noodles. And here's the big one, they have an entire menu for Celiac/ gluten-free people! The food is delicious and I have never had a reaction in the 4 years that I have been coming here. The only reason why I gave it four stars instead of five for atmosphere is because the tables don't seem to get clean when we come to visit. I understand that in today's climate not every establishment can have enough workers, so something's got to give. But if there's one thing I could change about this place, it would be that the table/dining area gets cleaned...

I really wanted to like this place. The service was wonderful & the cooks were very friendly. And yes the portions were enormous. But I'm sorry, the food was terrible. The rice had zero flavor, and all 3 meats (pineapple ribs, sesame chicken, generals chicken) seemed all drowned in soy & teriyaki which just left the taste of salt in everything. The crab rangoon & egg roll were just fine. Even if the portions are enormous, if the food isn't good, you have leftover bad food. I only leave this review because if nobody says anything, sometimes they don't know something is wrong. I hope they can...
