Its been a few months since I've been to Lamars. The moment I walked in it was very obvious new owners. I asked the manager since he had a different uniform on than the rest if it was new owners. He informed me its no longer franchise now a corporate store. Which was very obvious. not only was he rude that i asked. But the environment was no longer welcoming and friendly as it was with the previous owner. With everyone in a uniform, the family photos, the extra decorations that made the store very friendly and welcoming is gone. The store has lost its soul it had for years.
The staff were very nice but the manager is obviously a corporate brown nose AND rude.
My advice is get rid of the uniforms it no longer makes it a friendly environment. the Staff while nice they were no longer talking with each other they once did. Its obvious new staff but since they no longer seemed to enjoy being there and talked with each other and the customers, its obvious they have to force the smile and kindess.
Sell the store back to a local owner so the store will have soul and friendly family environment...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery poor service, when pointing out (actually pointing) the donuts we wanted the girl still was confused and questioned 3 times if the donuts that were in the bag the ones we wanted. We stated for sitting in, but got them bagged up. My boyfriend asked for a little room to add creamer to his coffee but when he got it there was no room. To top it off when he went to ask for some he was told they don't have after being ignored by both employees but was told they had half and half. She took his cup and dumped some of the coffee that he had paid for already and found out the half and half was frozen. So then was told there was only whole milk, he said that's fine since that was the only thing they had. She then dumped almost half the coffee and assumed he wanted a $6 worth half coffee half milk. That got cold within 5min. Used to be his favorite spot to get donuts now we both will never go back. Very sad that the best donuts in town was ruined by the worst customer service from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo, I was told a Managers Special dozen was $26.39, and that is 6 specialty doughnuts & 6 regular doughnuts. As you can see from my pictures, I was charged for the Managers special, yet I wasnāt offered the 3 additional doughnuts I was paying for. I only got 5 specialty, and 4 regular. I called to let someone know, and no one has returned my call. The customer service is awful, because the person helping me, shouldāve offered the 3 additional doughnuts. This rating may change if they return my call, and offer, but Iām not holding my breath. Also, these are the most expensive doughnuts ever, so be prepared to break the bank! Thatās a lot for only 9 doughnuts. No one has called me, and do you see their reply? If they really cared about their customers, I wouldāve been offered the 4 doughnuts, and someone would take the time to reach out. Thatās the worse reply Iāve ever had to a review. The ones that care, offer to...
