Spangles — Restaurant in Wichita

Most businesses these days customer service is AT BEST average. Not a chance that people are the way it used to be with smiles & friendliness for everyone.

Because of this, I don’t leave reviews often, because it’s not very hard to get away with being completely average in our customer service world these days.

But when you get exceptional customer service, it’s almost hard to NOT tell everyone about it.

The guy working the drive through tonight (Sat Oct 19th) around 7PM was one of the friendliest fast food workers I’ve dealt with in a while.

Had a smile to greet me at the window, thanked me for choosing Spangles, and even took note of my name on my card & addressed me in a formal manner when passing it back.

Chick Fil A doesn’t even have that level of service anymore consistently.

Always have been a fan of spangles but, I have had some rude service. The most recent trip left me disappointed. I work nights at one of the local hospitals, not a lot of places are open when I'm able to go on break. I checked the location hours. It said open til 11:00. I left for my break a little after 10:00 pm. Pull up in the drive-thru and wait 5-10 minutes, no one answered! I decided to call. A man answered and told me they were closed, that they close at 10 pm now due to COVID. I said okay, your hours online still show that you up. Wasn't upset simple trying to suggest to change the time of business online and putting a sign in The drive-thru? When I said that the man got an Attitude. Also why not answer the drive thru and say you are closed? Instead of making me wait? Bad...

I've been away for about 6 years and was eager to get some Spangle's today.

First, prices have increased drastically (everything has) and portions have shrank. We each received about 12 French fries with each of our 3 sandwiches. The fries were exactly as I remembered - thank you!! Just a rip off on quantity (potatoes are NOT expensive and are a great "filler" for your customers; come on Spangle's, you can do better!!)

The sandwiches ... SO GREASY!!!! My sister's bread was actually dripping grease. In no world is this OK.

Overall, quite disappointing. Probably won't ever return.

Sad, since I've been a fan since Spangles was called...
