Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Wichita

I had an order yesterday that was delivered in a timely manner yet one of the pizzas was a medium and not the large that was ordered the young lady was awesome and gave me a $10 discount at the time of delivery great service up to that point! The two pizzas were soggy on the bottom and seems to my personal preference to be overdone on the top I don't know if they were slid through some water or something else after they were pulled from the oven but very noticeable to the point I made a call back to Marcos and spoke to what I assume was a manager not sure of his name but he was a very helpful person and said they would replace the large and the med next time I ordered from them! Well up to this point I was happy with the service I had received and we have been for the past 3 year's since moving to the Wichita area but when I called to get those pizzas replaced this evening it was a complete different atmosphere and my treatment by a young lady that in my 50+ years of whatever problem I might have had with a retail business over the years and there have been a few I've not been so completely and totally disrespected by an employee of a business that I traded with ever in my life she was obviously not trained to handle anyone that might be a customer she attacked and was on the defensive from the start when I had been very patient up to that point she raised her voice so to talk over me where I couldn't even explain my side she referenced the discount for the mistake in the size of pizza from my order before and was not going to allow me to speak whatsoever the most disrespectful unprofessional person that I've had the displeasure of dealing with I think ever. I will no longer do business with Marcos as of today unless this stores real management takes action to speak with this young lady and trains her in the customer service areas that she's completely lacking she hung up in my face and when I called back to ask her name so I could speak to her boss tomorrow she threatened to call the police saying that I had threatened her which is a complete and utter falsehood I was having this conversation with her in front a few adults and two grandkids and they know I didn't threaten this girl ever and that needs to get addressed immediately because I'm not going to let her or anyone else falsely accuse me of something I didn't do I may have spoke angrily after her abuse but I've never threatened a girl in my life that will have the company and I in civil...

I don't want to give them any stars..I've been a loyal customer since 2014. In the last 4 months they have changed all new associates and management. They can't get the orders correct. I called back on my sub 3 weeks ago, it was the italian sub.. it only had ham, salami, and chesse.. I had requested other items on it, of course! He ask if I could bring it back, so they could remake it. I said I would try the next day. I couldn't make it and I then had a death in the family. I decided, today I'll give them a third chance! My mistake, the person that I spoke 3 weeks ago didn't put it in the system what had happened. So the, "MANAGER " I spoke with today, she informed me I needed a name. They won't do anything for me. Since I don't have a name of who I spoke with, ( I should have reminded him to put my information in the system of their mistake they made on MY ORDER) I get docked because the associate didn't do THEIR JOB IN THE FIRST PLACE. Then I call, and the 2nd associate didn't do their JOB AGAIN! I said to the manage, you must have new management. She said yes.. I had noticed in the last 4 months; when I went in to pick up my orders no one would say "welcome to Marco's!" I didn't get the up beat vibe they use to have. So today I canceled the order I had placed online and WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. They did have great pizza, but quality and customer service has really gone down. This was my first time at Marco's, seen all types of commercials and advertisements about them, but never had the chance to enjoy a nice pizza from this place... until now. I ordered a small 'Pepperoni Magnifico' since I am a pepperoni lover, and I was out on a walk and didn't wanna have a big pizza to carry around. 😂 The pizza came out 15 minutes after I placed my order, the usual wait time for take-out pizza. It was absolutely delightful after I took my first bite of this pizza. You got that nice balance of cheese, sauce, pepperoni, and, surprisingly, parmesan sprinkled on top! Devoured the rest of it while on my walk back home. The staff was super friendly and greeted you with a big smile, loved the service here altogether. The lady at the cash register told me about a great deal of the Pepperoni Magnifico, and while I didn't go with this deal... hundred percent going for that deal next time I come here if it's still up and going at the time.
