Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Wichita

Everyone seemed like they were on drugs, we didn’t receive everything we ordered, and the wait was long. Go to the store on Rock Rd, accurate service and excellent quality food. Upon entering only one employee was in sight standing at the drive thru window. She hollers toward the back notifying another worker we needed assistance. After waiting a few minutes, a woman comes to the register and greets us while giggling uncontrollably. My boyfriend and I place our order (two esandwiches, one chip, and one drink) however the cashier entered the order wrong and had to retrieve the manager for assistance. After the manager assisted the cashier she read us the total and collected our payment. Approximately 10 minutes later the general manager arrived with ONE sandwich (that appeared as if it was cut with both eyes closed), we informed him that we ordered two sandwiches at which point he states “We only rung you up for one but we can ring you up for another”. Frustrated but still hungry I got up and ordered another. We waited another 15 minutes before the next sandwich arrived at which point I was almost done with my sandwich. First time eating at Schlotzskys. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Club. They seem to have a special house made bread for their sandwiches, but that’s where the excitement ends. There were two tiny pieces of bacon. So little that I never tasted them. And no, I don’t have Covid. 🤣 The bread had a good flavor but the meat on the sandwich was basic lunch meat that you would get from the grocery store. It was like warm. I was excited to see a good portion of meat on the sandwich but it ended up not being a good thing because it had no flavor and was just kinda slimy like typical lunch meat. If they would use fresh cut meats like jersey Mikes this would be a killer sandwich and the drive through line might be wrapped around the building like Chic-fil-a. Let’s not even talk about the “special sauce” that was supposed to be on the sandwich. Either they forgot to put it on my sandwich or it’s just the miracle whip mayo that they use. I had the worst experience at this store! Placed an online order, it said ready in 20 minutes. I get to the store and no order. I checked with the guy at the register, he says they are working on it. Meanwhile I see food going to the drive thru and new walk in customers. After I waited 20 minutes, another customer wanted to cancel his order, the clerk said he didn't know how to refund his money. So I asked about canceling my order and again, nobody knew how to refund my money or where my food was. I had them remake the food while I watched.
