FaithFest — Local services in Wilkesboro

An amazing atmosphere for both kids and adults alike! This was our first time getting to experience it at the new venue. We worshipped through song with Tasha Layton, Ben Fuller, Matthew West, Josh Baldwin, Jon Reddick, and We are Messengers. There were other groups (and speakers) we missed due to my son needing some rest and recuperation back at a local hotel. Duck Donuts and Kona Ice were “da bomb”(according to my son). All volunteers and staff were patient, wanting to serve, and knowledgeable, and the place was electric keeping Christ at the center of it all. It does get hot so bring cooling items (mini fans, umbrellas, hats, etc.) but it’s totally worth it! The artists took the time to snap photos and give signatures and there were plenty of activities for the kids to keep occupied while waiting or needing a break (inflatables, face painting, crafts, etc.). My eight year old son is over-the-moon (especially having the opportunity to speak to and get Tasha’s signature) and already convincing me that we need to come back next year! :)

My husband and myself went for the first time this year, and we went for both days. It was a great experience and the key is to have patience with others. We got skipped in line, and we didn’t let the devil win. We witnessed rudeness in others there, still the devil didn’t win. A little miscommunication on the baptisms, on the time of starting them, again the devil didn’t win. Music was incredible. Zach Williams sounded a little nasally but yet he didn’t let the devil win. Second day Ben Fuller was amazing as always. The sounding started messing up with him and he ran that devil away for his 6 year anniversary for being clean!!!! Praise God! Prayers to everyone there. My husband and I were able to be baptized, we clearly see why we weren’t able to be baptized prior to faith fest, it was God’s will for us to be baptized there and we thank everyone who participated in making this come true for us!...

This was my first time attending & I definitely wasn't disappointed!! I'll gladly be making the trip every single year from Pennsylvania! Southern hospitality at its finest. My cousin & I had the time of our lives! The music, the people, the speakers, the prayers & testimonies really hit me personally. I've never been surrounded by so much positivity, we've met some amazing people and made unforgettable memories. Thank you Jesus, I'm so grateful for the entire...
