Fu Sing — Restaurant in Willard

This is a typical strip mall Chinese take-out restaurant. I commend them for being one of the few restaurants in town that was open on the 4th of July. The interior had little to no A/C even though it was hot outside, and the dull, dark, and dingy interior was completely uninviting. We didn't stay to eat in.

Three of us ordered a meal, and none of us were impressed with the food. It had this slick, oily taste about it and it rather overpowered the flavor of the meats, which were completely flavorless. I asked for Lo Mein noodles, which was a mistake. It tasted like greased, oil-soaked noodles. The fried rice my son and brother tried was equally tasteless.

They served us a lot of food. Sure it filled us up, and we didn't actually finish our meal that night. In fact, my son and I left the next morning and we never got around to finishing our meal. I don't think we even thought about taking it with us to eat as a lunch.

Fu Sing is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant. We drove in from Cleveland, Ohio just to eat here, and it was absolutely worth it.

We ordered the chicken with broccoli, orange flavor chicken, General Tso’s chicken, sesame chicken, crab Rangoon, and side of lo mein. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside. The lo mein had thick, fresh noodles, which I love, and everything came out piping hot. The crab Rangoon was delicious and definitely a must-try.

Anna went above and beyond with her customer service. She was friendly, attentive, and really made the experience even better.

Was in from out of town looking for something to eat besides bar food, fast food, or pizza. Impressed enough! Although I tried calling and didn’t get an answer I drove up and the signs insisted you call ahead as part of covid policy but the lady at the checkout took my order and it was quick. They’ve got a Frankenstein set-up of boards and plexi calked together but it really is a nice COVID practice. Cash only, put it in a tub, pass it through the slot, no touching, everyone I could see was wearing masks.
