I reserved a room online and in the special instructions noted that I was renting the room for my son and daughter-in-law, who were coming from North Carolina. I went to the office on check-in day and told the girl the above information. She was very rude and stated "We don't allow other people to pay for guests". I told her if that were true, why didn't someone call me and tell me since I put it in the special request box. She rudely stated, "we don't look at those". I laughed and said, "then why have the box?" She wasn't amused. I asked her if she took cash, she said "no". I asked if my son could use his card, but leave the room in my name since it was already booked. She said "no". I told her I read her cancellation policy, was I going to be charged for cancelling last minute, since they didn't seem to want to rent a room. She said "no". I asked for that in writing, which she printed a receipt. I asked for a number I could call to complain. She said, "we don't give out the owners information." Well how on earth is he going to know that his employees are rude and unhelpful? This is also a place that asks for service companion documentation, when anyone who knows ADA rules, knows this isn't allowed. She seemed to think she was "housing", as opposed to "public accommodations." I hope this review finds Mr. Inmon, and I reported this business to the Dept. of Justice: Civil Rights Division. (ADA) If you don't care about the customer, please don't work in...
Read moreThis hotel will do for a brief one-night visit, but if you need anything longer, I advise finding another place to stay. I choose this location because it was convenient for my job, which needed me to be in Willard for two weeks. Name brand hotels are 30 minutes away. Big error. The fitted sheet had a sizable black spot on the edge, and the top blanket had a yellowish stain just at end of the bed on my first day. The manager brought in a new blanket and replaced the old one after informing her. She claimed that it was a coffee stain, but I had my doubts. The workspace was a small table with two chairs that appeared to be rough wooden milking stools. While using my computer, these were really unpleasant to sit on. My small bathroom had a musty odor. Fitted sheets are too tiny and frequently fall off the mattress. Despite my protests, they replaced the sheet with one of the same size. You'll be enveloped like a tortilla when you wake up. I'll make the effort to drive the 30 minutes on...
Read moreI would not recommend ever staying here. The lady I had at the desk was very rude. I called to tell her I made the check in time 11 because I am travelling from out of state. She made a big fit and said if I’m late I need to call her because she lives there and this isn’t a 24/7 place. The minute I get there she gives me my key and tells me where my room is. She told me the wrong room number so I went to the room she told me and unlocked the door. I opened the door and someone was on the bed just as confused as me that I just unlocked their door and walked in. I told the lady that my key unlocked someone’s door, she said yeah some keys are master keys and unlock all doors to any room. If you’re a young woman like me that’s unsettling and unsafe. I ask for a refund and she said she’ll have to talk to her manager about it on Monday. I left on Saturday. Also my sheets had some odd hard black stuff all over and the bed had a plastic cover and...
