China 88 — Restaurant in Williamsport

There's no way the 4 star or better reviews on this place are real. If you've ever been anywhere remotely urban and tasted good Chinese food, you would know this place is "hot garbage." We're visiting Jellystone and wanted at least decent Chinese during our trip and we're utterly disappointed. Fried rice is pretty much yellow colored white rice, no flavor, no nothing. The chicken in the fried rice was never poultry a day in its life, I'm convinced. The beef from the peppered steak was chewy and nothing like true beef; perhaps rodent or an unfortunate missing house pet. Spring roll was ehhhh, shrimp roll was whack. Cheese Rangoon was edible. I was traveling through the area and stopped in Hagerstown for the night. I hadn't had good Asian carryout in quite a while and found this place on line. It was only a couple miles from my hotel. I had the orange chicken and a shrimp egg role. The food was out standing and the service was quick. My only mistake was getting the large order, which would have been plenty for 2 people. This is the worst food yet. They put no egg or veggies in it. It's just bland rice a few shrimp and a handful of bean sprouts. Ugh!! Worst shrimp fried rice ever. I called to ask about it as this was my first time ordering from here. The lady said if I wanted egg in it you have to specify and there is an extra cost. What???
