Literally go anywhere else. The prices are too expensive for the mediocre quality. You can get a sandwich at Panera for the same price, except Spring St Market and Cafe does not include a side with the sandwich. The bakery items are delicious, but when a cookie costs almost $4 and a tiny slice of cake costs $7, it's never worth it.
The space is cramped with no room to move freely in the dining room AND in the store itself. The shelves are pushed so close to the walls that it allows for only one person to stand in the aisle. If you do not know what you want to drink, you will be forced to circle back every time someone else enters the aisle (which is frequently).
Since many college students use this establishment to study, there is often never a place to sit during the busier hours. Keep this in mind if you ever plan on going for lunch. It is slower during school breaks.

This is especially true of their selection of packaged items, of which they stock a variety ranging from hygiene products to oatmeal to chocolates. I would never shop here given the chance and avoid this place whenever possible. My wallet is much happier for it, and I honestly am not missing much. Their food is nothing special and their prices take brutal advantage of the lack of other options available to students who don't own cars and can't get to...

The service is always warm, fast, and friendly—another reason I keep coming back. The space is small but cozy, and often has more seating than you’d expect, making it an easy place to linger if you are meeting for coffee or a chat. The food menu is simple but solid—good ingredients, generous portions, and made with care.
This is the kind of spot locals know and love—familiar, unfussy, and...
