First order here I set it up on line had me put in an address for delivery click click everything was easy paid for it. I couldn't pick it up at the time, he issued a refund didn't think much of it, just they have a goofy website.
After that experience I ordered again when I was healthy enough to get a ride there was excited this place is hot on google. I am from California where sushi is a very serious thing and you all are getting scammed here sad to see.
I started to read some of the other reviews on this and there is nothing new here. Under portioned protein and use more avo than I've ever seen in a roll. Gyoza undercooked and the sauce was watered down. Miso soup was super bland tasted like nothing no flavor probably went light on the paste.
I called the in manager said they sear the tuna before they put it in the roll. Well tuna turns white not orange, yikes man I get it they need to make money but this is about 7 dollars of ingredients which I paid just over 70 for.
Bravo for making money but they are cutting corners in every way. This isnt authentic the portions vs price are steep. High in sushi places in California are this high but the roll is a foot long. with a good chunk of actual tuna. I am so appalled about how far they are taking it, never in my years multiple times a week sushi have I ever seen something so crooked.
Since when is tuna seared for sashimi? Words from the manager not me. I told him I have never heard of that Ill add it to my review which then I was offered a refund to not review and to try the place again. I declined obviously. Zoom into that last pic Tuna doesn't have the big white spacers its a solid deep red. Those white spacers lines are a character. Manager said the salad comes with tuna I dont see it. One the website they put the tuna on the top. I dont know what the hell is going on here. Maybe it was just a bad order but I felt like I should have got a little more for my money not shorted in every...
Read moreOrdered online hit submit and page showed order was not processed and card was not charged. Went back in to website again reordered with no problem. While waiting for food, reviewed bank account and my card was charged twice for the one order. Went to pick up order and woman waiting on me made note that two orders popped out but they cancelled one assuming it was in error bc orders were identical. I told staff this is correct but I was charged twice. She said it may take 1-2 weeks to be refunded. 3 weeks later I’m not refunded and call. I speak to the man in charge who tells me it was never charged on their end and it shows voided. Then further tells me I need to take it up with my bank. I ask “is this all you can do for me?” The man says I can’t do anything else you need to file a complaint with your bank. We are disconnected and I am extremely disappointed. No it’s not my banks fault, it’s your fault and the fact that you wouldn’t comp me in the amount I was owed the next time my family and I come in-well you’ve just lost all my business. So very disappointed, we...
Read moreI think that the menu focused more on the hot foods is great. The salt and pepper calamari was great. Seasoned well, super crispy and not too greasy. The cabbage and peppers it sat on were quite tasty as well. The hot and sour soup had great flavor (although I got mine and it wasn't hot - as in to the touch).
The sushi on the other hand... not so good. The fish seemed pretty fresh and the presentation was nice but it was grocery store quality at best. I ordered a rainbow roll and the inside only had imitation crab with mayo. Way too sweet and missing the cucumber and avocado. There was avocado on the outside and that was good. I was expecting much worse so I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't try anything else because there were a lot of rolls with cream cheese in them. I hate that.
I do love the fact that this Asian restaurant exists and flourishes in such a small community in the middle of America. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I love the fact that people can try something a little different than what...
