DON'T GO!!!!! YOU SHOULD GO TO TACO BELL
I will start out the rice and beans, and the salsa was good. One of the girls brought us chips and salsa. The salsa was great, but the chips had to be a day old, just nasty.
I couldn't find what i wanted, so i figured by me telling Gabriela what i like in a Burrito i would tell her what i like and get something good. I asked for new chips, and Gabriela just giggled and walked away. So we finally get our food. My burrito had the cheese on it like i ask, but it had that nasty enchilada sauce on half of it. I asked for my rice and beans to be put in it, but it was on the side. My burrito was only stake, nothing more on the inside. The stake was so dry and over cooked i could feel and taste of the charcoal stake.
At almost all restaurants, you will receive your food from the server. They will walk away, and after you take 1 or 2 bites of your food, they come back and ask you how the food taste. Gabriela didn't check on us at all. When she did come back, i explained to her how my meal was wrong: %100 i asked her for a box for my rice and beans. I waited about 20 minutes for a box. So i got up to use the restroom, don't get started on that. I thought that by the time I got back to the table, my box and check would be waiting. Nope, just the check. My wife said the minute you walked away, she brought the bill and placed it in front of my wife, and walked away. So i went to the bar and got a box, then paid. So never never never go to this restaurant. We should have gone to Taco Bell or Panda Garden. Eat at...
Read moreWe came to el Tapatio on Sunday, Mother’s Day to have a Mexican meal. We requested a table, and they were going to set us in a booth. We were finally sat at a table. We searched the menu, figured out what we wanted and placed the order. We waited a full 45 minutes before I was able to get a hold of a waitress to find out how much longer before we get our food. The wait staff went and checked on it, and came back and said that some equipment had broken. She spoke such poor English that it was difficult at best to understand her. I asked how long before we got our order, and she said probably another 20 minutes.
Long story short, we left an hour after we ordered our food.
This is probably the worst review that I can ever give a restaurant, but their lack of Communication regarding the equipment our food was being cooked on absolutely unacceptable. If they would’ve let us know, we could’ve picked something different.
I would think twice before eating there again.
And it’s too bad, because the last two times we ate there the food and the service...
Read moreBeen here before in the past and it was way better. This time the waitress required a translator as she didn't speak a word of English making ordering difficult. My wife's burrito was pathetically small for the price compared to the ones in the past. She asked for Queso cheese sauce over it and it came with a few clumps of shredded cheese. My fajitas had hardly any beef or shrimp, mostly chicken. Very greasy. They brought more beef but it was kind of overboard look like it was about three-quarters of a pound of cut up meat so I can't complain about that though as I said before it was quite greasy. The chunks of peppers we're barely even cut up so I had to cut them up with a knife and the chunks of onion were way too big too. This experience was not nearly as good as our previous visits to this restaurant, but at least the staff was...
