Cash Wise Foods Grocery Store — Local services in Willmar

I made the mistake of buying milk from Cash Wise-Willmar yesterday after work, because I was in a hurry and knew I could get in and out of Cash Wise quicker than Walmart. I picked up the jug in the Little Duke's area and looked it over twice, because I wasn't sure it looked quite right. But it did say "Food Club Fat Free Milk" on the label. Then last night come suppertime I poured the milk in a glass and immediately could tell it wasn't right. It had too thick of a consistency to be skim milk. But then thought maybe I was wrong. Tasted the milk, and oh my gosh--nope, it was NOT skim milk, it was WHOLE milk! But then I thought maybe I was wrong, maybe it's milk that's gone bad instead. Read the expiration date on the jug, which was September 12, the day before. But it wasn't that the milk was showing signs of being spoiled, despite being a day past its expiration--it was that fat could clearly be tasted in the milk. Never again will I quickly stop at Cash Wise to grab milk! AND it isn't the only time I've unknowingly bought expired products at Cash Wise. A few months ago (in May) I had picked up some protein bars there when I was in a hurry, and when I went to eat one, it was so rubbery that I thought I might break a tooth. When I read the expiration date, it had expired November 2022! I don't think I should have to check everything I buy at Cash Wise to ensure that it hasn't expired--that should be their job! ...

Went in yesterday for my usual after work dinner fixed. Worst customer service ever. I checked out to a regular register with a cashier name Ann. Very rude. I bag my groceries & after bagging my groceries I asked for receipt, she said in rude voice & yelled “wait” I replied again & said “you have my receipt”? coz I quiet don’t understand why I have to “wait” she replied with a rude attitude for the second time & said “ I said wait, I have to finish this guy first, I trashed your receipt” so I asked “why you trashed my receipt “ she said coz you “walked away”? “Walked-away”?? here at Cashwise not only you pay a bit extra for groceries you also have to BAG YOUR GROCERIES” whatta a customer service & way you treat customers CashWise! Your worker needs retraining for better customer service. Even the gentleman behind couldn’t believe his ears & eyes what was happening he actually made a comment 3x & said “wow, sooo rude” “wow not only we pay more & a little expensive for groceries you have to deal with rude workers too” just “wow, she’s rude” & I said back “ right?! She’s very rude” With inflation be grateful for people that come & shop & bring their business there, we can always bring our money & business to Big box store like SuperWalmart which is just a block away from you. Retrain your employee(s) Cashwise your company can do better...

If I could give a negative star I would!!! Started out today by going to get some groceries at Cash Wise,sadly I am a mom and use this time as”me/my down time”.To start out,I went to check out and there was 1other person at the self-check out(and about4-5ppl at the other open register),so I decided to use the self check out. I also wanted to buy stamps and purchase a Starbucks Gift card,I was having problems with the gift card scanning and asked for helpWish Mason would have been workingwas told by the female employee who was working/watching the self check out that I would have to go to either customer service or an open register to pay for gift card,no big deal.Like I said this is my down time,I do not mind doing my own groceries and not being in a hurry.The female then proceeded to TELL me I could not use the self check out because I exceeded the 15 item max for self check, 1.of all there was No one at the self check out,so I would not be creating a hold up 2.am I not the customer?me being told I cannot check out at self check because I had over the designated amount of items??(I have seen ppl with a lot more items use self check) Please…didn’t want to make a scene or be impossible but I will seriously take my grocery shopping elsewhere, complete ridiculous!!!
