I was in Cleveland for 2 weeks and ate at Giuseppe's 4 times in that period. I tried pizza, sandwiches, and wings.
Day 1 I had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. So good! It's a pan style pizza with a very light and airy crust, great ingredients, cooked real hot. This is some of my favorite pizza anywhere, top 4 I'd say, and the best pizza I had in Cleveland.
Day 2 I had wings. Giuseppe is outspoken that their wings are baked never fried, and for baked wings they were very good. The 'hot' were simply regular Frank's Redhot coated which was a little disappointing, but the wings were well seasoned and baked to a crisp and moist delicious product.
Day 3 I had the veal Parmesan sandwich. It was so good that I immediately ordered it again and had it twice. More like once and a half, as I took the second half of the second one home. Fantastic and I'd order it again, but next time I'd order it double meat and double cheese on 1 sandwich.
Day 4 I had the buffalo chicken pizza. It comes with a white sauce, and again I need to mention how good this crispy, airy, pan style pizza is! It's very good. They had a new cook training this day and she made the pizza the first time with red sauce which is no good. A manager came out and explained the problem and asked if I'd like it remade correctly, which obviously I did, and made my stay very long while I waited for my food to be remade. This pizza should have come with bacon and banana peppers by default and been dipped with a buffalo drizzle, definitely some room for improvement, but a great pizza nonetheless.
They have 2 liters of Mug root beer available which is always great for me, and they even have the ever elusive Mug cream soda in smaller bottles. They've got a variety of teas available as well.
If you're training at the Progressive center nearby and looking for something nearby for lunch, this is a 1 minute drive and the best thing I found in the area. Highly...
Read moreI always read the reviews of a restaurant before I go there. Seeing they had a 4.5 I figured I’d try it. What a HUGE disappointment!!! The menu is out dated by at least $4, the staff who answered the phone had ZERO clue about the menu and when I asked to speak to the manager, she sounded like she was 12 and she didn’t have a clue either. My husband got the Chicken cutlet sandwich and said it was the WORST chicken sandwich he’s ever had. It was dry and what seemed to be the lettuce, could fit on a silver dollar. They claim their rolls are freshly made, I’d like to know when? At the beginning of the week for the whole week? I asked for our condiments on the side and we didn’t get them at all. $23.50 for two sandwiches is outrageous, especially when they’re inedible. I’d never go back again. Lesson learned. I should have went to Dino’s next door where at least I know the food...
Read moreThe pizza and wings here are INCREDIBLE. I ordered the bone-in buffalo and BBQ wings, and they were really tasty! Also, a lot of meat on the wings. Wings are outrageously priced at the moment due to scarcity, so I was happy to spend the money on quality. The meat lover's pizza had ample sauce, cheese, and meat. I ordered the NY style, and it was the perfect amount of crust. Tasted fresh and crispy. Overall, this place was sooo much better than the regular ol' pizza chains (You know, the ones that start with a "P!") I would gladly spend an extra $10-15 to get more quality here. They seem to do a lot of business and seem properly staffed (even during the pandemic!) None of the workers looked stressed since there was a lot of staff and thus, they were really friendly! Just another reason to support this establishment....
