Kate's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Willowick

Fantastic bar tucked away on Euclid Ave! I’ve been a bartender for over 10 years. With almost 20 years in the service industry. If I could find something to complain about I’d politely highlight it. I’ve worked a wide array of places from up scale martini bars to dive bars with holes in the floor. Both of which are Not Kate’s. It’s an exceptional local bar with exceptional atmosphere and beyond awesome service. My humble opinion is Kate’s is a 9 out of 10 neighborhood bar with above average food and a 13 out of 10 service I’d highly suggest Kate’s! It’s Great place to watch a browns game. The Regulars are friendly and you feel at home the minute you walk in wether it’s your first time or 200th time being there. (We all know what it’s like to walk in and have the regulars look at you like “you’re not from around here are ya?” ) Nope not here! Smells like smoke. They make people go outside to smoke (amazing) but said people smoke right next to the door and open the door as they’re smoking.

the food… omg. the food was delicious. it was one of the BEST burgers i have ever had. although it wasn’t well done, like i had asked for it was absolutely delicious & huge. ( as the photo doesn’t show: because i ate almost all of it and my mom ate on it.)

The pepperoni rolls were delicious , as always. it’s honestly our favorite place to get those.

Bartender was amazing, she was gorgeous and very hands on. I enjoyed her.

Now, The atmosphere sucked. More the people. A man PUT HIS HANDS ON ME & made me uncomfortable. i think he realized because he walked away a few moments later but he hadn’t even spoken to me before he did so. A man also bothered my grandma the entire time, “flirting with her” (...

I used to love this bar, unfortunately they got a new bartender who is the rudest person I've ever met. She LAUGHED at me when i ordered my beer with the remark "this isn't the kinda bar you can get Stella" well thanks, suggest something different? She didn't. And then proceeded to take a male customer in the womans bathroom with her for a good 15mins leaving the bar unattended and me beerless. When i questioned it, she told me to go drink somewhere else then and THEN proceeded to talk about me to her male customers when i was in the parking lot. I have never felt so bad about requesting bar service, and I'm a bartender myself. Please do something...
