usually don’t leave reviews for places unless i feel passionately about a business but THIS restaurant is top tier. the food is 100/10, always tasting as fresh as can be with so much flavor. the kimchi is to die for, as well as the beef bulgogi. i usually get the hawkins and it’s absolutely packed with flavor, and always fills me up without that gross after-feeling (because the food is that fresh.) not to mention the super cool arcade aesthetic!! the hardworking employees make this restaurant feel like pure comfort, all the while maintaining a 100 point grade A health inspection score which is rare and highly praised. would always...

I've been a fan of Banh Sai since their food truck days, and I'm thrilled they've opened a brick-and-mortar location in Wilmington! The food here is consistently incredible—packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and a perfect balance of traditional and creative twists. The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a fantastic dining experience every time. Whether you're a long-time fan or a first-timer, Banh Sai is a must-visit! So glad I can now enjoy their delicious offerings regularly without having to chase the food truck....

I went to Banh Sai for the first time, and 3 days later, I was back. I am hooked! While menu offerings are limited, they are delicious. My new favorite sandwich in Wilmington is the Kano, which is like the honey pepper pimento from Chick-fil-A, but it is better and actually existed first! I was impressed to see their use of compostable materials (plates, bowls, utensils, napkins, and cups) and in-store compost and recycling bins so that customer waste was kept to a minimum. Their 1980s theme (interior design and music) is also cool to see, and it's nice that they put in those extra touches. I will definitely be back and highly recommend...

From a food truck to a brick-and-mortar, this 80’s-themed Asian fusion restaurant is an experience that goes beyond just tantalizing the taste buds. Owner and chef Austin has perfectly captured what Wilmington locals and vegans have been craving. At Banh Sai, you can choose rice, lettuce, or a burrito as your base, with tofu or crispy Brussels sprouts as your “power-up,” and a variety of “fighter” options. Every dish can be veganized, including their sauces and aioli. The Banh Sai team is welcoming and genuinely happy to serve the community. This place has quickly become a Wilmington staple for everyone.
