It's pretty good selection wise, but needs major work. The lights need to be a little brighter so you can actually see the selection. The items need to be better organized. Maybe beer in one area, then divide by region. Everything was all over the place, it was hard to get a feel for what they had. It's a bit too packed for the size of the place. Forget passing someone in most places, it's tight. They have a room with a couch and coffee table and someone had their damn shoes off with THEIR FEET ON THE TABLE. UMMM ICK! To top it off they have people who regularly smoke outside, generally right by the door. I am super sensitive to smoke and it about made me PUKE. They were literally blowing right at the door. I think it was someone who worked there on top of it. They do have a pretty good selection, though I haven't been in the area long so I don't know how to compare it to other stores in the area. They supposedly had the biggest selection of wicked weed outside of Asheville (my husband went there before and was told this) but I didn't see it and the person working didn't know. But I did just move from Asheville and those stores are tip top. Even when I lived in North Augusta/Augusta and Columbia, those were better set up stores. I may come back here because I saw a couple of beers as my husband was checking out that I would have seen had they been placed properly... But I wouldn't go out...

What a cool spot! It's got the feel of an enchanted house party with more beer and wine than guests. The rooms are set up so you can walk through and sit in a secluded seating area in each one, as if in a home. There are bottles displayed on the walls and refrigerators dotted about brimming with the most extensive range of imports and local craft beers I have ever seen in one place. Absolutely wild, will return the next time I am in town. I don't drink beer anymore and I enjoy a little wine, but my party loved it and I will be the happiest to volunteer as designated driver to go there! The great atmosphere, with live music, is such a joy to be a part of. PS the woman who was singing with her guitar last night knocked my socks of, and the male vocalist / guitarist...

This bar was so unique! The friends we went with called it a "bottle bar", but it was a first for me. Basically, it was a house that had different rooms filled with beer and wine from all over the world! In addition, they were several beers on tap to choose from, several unique to the area. If you are looking for unique gifts, they also had beer infused lollipops, soups and pickles for sale.

I enjoy sour beers, so Natty Greene's on draft was my favorite!

As if the selection wasn't enough, the back yard area featured picnic tables and live music (check their schedule). If outdoors isn't your thing, there is a sitting room with several games for you to play as well.

Basically, this place is awesome! If we lived in Wilmington so we would frequent this...

I've drank thousands, literally thousands of beers over the last 11 years...and this place nearly made me nauseous with the incredible selection. Located in what looks like an old house, beer is stacked from floor to ceiling, most out of the cooler but some brews/4-6 packs are in coolers. There's a small bar area that has a handful of well curated brews on tap, plus a fridge full of class beers. A backyard biergarten boasts tables and chairs, string lighting and a place for live music. If you're a serious craft beer fan and looking for a rare find or a relaxed setting to enjoy a newly found creation, this is the place. Note: Picture is of a free tasting they were doing for sours/barrel-aged beers.

Fermental, Wilmington's original bottle shop and beer garden, marks a decade of delight in a vintage 1950's service station. We had an incredible time exploring their superb beers, wines, sake, mead, and more. Live music and food trucks added to the festive vibe in the pet-friendly outdoor beer garden. Recently voted Best Beer Bar in NC, their move to a larger space offered a plethora of draft beer and convenient parking. Casual and cozy, Fermental was a blast for all! Personally, my favorite was the THC Water - a true delight!
