Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries — Restaurant in Wilson

Do not eat at this place! The lines are not terribly long, but still poor customer service & unusually extended wait time for a "fast food restaurant". This has happened several times (I call in advance & wait 45+ minutes at the location for one cheese steak). During this whole pandemic, the employees do not wear masks! *Except for the one server today, and hers was pulled down to her neck. Today, the server said she was the only person working! She also mentioned that the other server was a lady that was getting over paid, so they cut down on other staff hours. I'm not sure all of the behind the scenes inner working, but the Hwy 55 on Airport Blvd has lost my business today. The last incident was a month ago, I waited over an hour for a call in to-go order..while watching several customers being served before me who did not call in...I complained & received a refund with no apology. The place is so close to my house, so I've been waiting for improvement with no avail. I will not recommend this place to anyone I know. I will tell them to avoid it at all cost! Update: Read the "owner's" response. Did he or she actually take the time to read my review? It looks like the response was little more than a cut-and-paste job. 2nd Update: It looks like they deleted their response.

TO THE OWNER: Sadly, I must give up on this particular Hwy 55. They usually mess up my order despite my clear and very simple instructions. On a March 30 visit there was NO SOAP IN THE BATHROOM, and the toilet was running constantly. I was going to say something to the waitress, but then I noticed the cook enter and exit the restroom. He sat down with three other employees at a booth where they were all chatting. If they had enough time to socialize then they had enough time to fill up the damn soap dispenser. Also, HOW WAS THE COOK ABLE TO WASH HIS HANDS??? All I could do was rince my hands in water and hope for the best. Before I left I returned to the restroom. The toilet was still running, and there was still no soap. Does anyone there care at all? As for me, I'm out....

Went in to this location the other day with my Grandparents. They go here often and say it’s normally pretty good. Well on this past Saturday it was far from it. First it took a minute for waiter to bring menus, no big deal well then he dropped them off and didn’t say anything, finally came back to take drink order and you could barely hear him talk, then came back with drinks and we placed food order. I ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup, lettuce and grilled oinions and fries. Well when the food finally came my burger had mustard, lettuce and grilled oinions, aggravating but I know mistakes happen so I flagged down a different waiter because ours was mia, told about the ketchup and no mustard, they brought back the same burger about 5 minutes later and all the did was try to scrape the mustard off the bottom and add ketchup to the top.
