Declining quality and service
I don’t like to leave negative reviews, and I never do based on a single event.
I have been to this location three times in the last month. Every visit was a disappointment. On the first of these three visits my order was wrong and it seemed like an inconvenience for the employees to serve me. On my next visit the employee at the register very clearly didn’t care if I was there or not, and seemed to not want to be there herself. It felt like taking my order was an annoyance to her. This seemed to be the general feel of the staff I interacted with, but most noticeable with the employee at the register. It was so noticeable that customers waiting in line looked at each other as they approached the register, quietly acknowledging her attitude.
Yesterday morning was the same. This time the chicken was rubbery, particularly in spots. I threw it away. But the worst failure in service was down the line. An elderly lady brought her drink back to the pick-up station and told the employee preparing drinks that her Pepsi did not taste like regular Pepsi. The employee completely ignored her as she continued to prepare drinks; she did not even acknowledge her presence. When she finished, she looked at the lady and said “You said what, now?” The lady repeated her observation about the Pepsi. The employee rolled her eyes, looked to her right, called someone’s name, and repeated the lady’s observation.
A person appearing to be a shift leader said “I know. We’re out of CO2.” The employee looked at the lady and flatly said “We’re out of CO2.” She gave no explanation to the lady what that meant, made no apology, and offered no alternative solutions.
The staff’s approach to the lack of CO2 was apparently to continue serving drinks anyway, without pointing the quality issue out to customers or offering them drink options that did not need CO2. They just let quality suffer and left it to the customers to deal with it.
There has been a serious lack of caring about the customer at this location for a long time, and it’s getting worse. The food quality is declining too.
Update: Immediately after posting this review, I copied the content and sent it to Bojangles customer service department through their website. A day or so later they posted the canned response to my Google Maps review that you can read. Went through the drive thru and I drive around just to see that my order is COMPLETELY wrong...AGAIN! I go inside and the employees (1 female and 1 male) are arguing over who is more of a girl. The guy laughs at the fact that he confused my order. The manager walks up and asks whats wrong so I explain it to him. He tells me he will fix it. Next thing you know he comes back and says there's a 10 min wait on my order. I'm waiting and waiting and waiting and meanwhile there's another young lady who was there before me complaining that she had been waiting almost 30 min and that her lunch break was almost over (she worked at taco bell RIGHT BESIDE THIS LOCATION) and STILL hadnt gotten her wings....WINGS! They gave me wings when I CLEARLY said a 3 pc dark with fries and an iced tea. The receipt even stated so. Well as I'm still WAITING I grow more and more impatient especially watching how unprofessional this manager's employees were AS WELL AS HIM!! He's got angry customers and him and his employees are laughing and horsing around. I demanded my money back and had to go through a damn questionnaire of why I want a refund. He said whats the problem? I said YOUR EMPLOYEES!! I also told him I dont trust any of them fixing my food after all I had seen and told him I wanted my money back. He gave it back and apologized AGAIN. Well an apology only goes so far when you're laughing and joking and in no rush while you have angry customers. This is the worst Bojangles location in Wilson NC. If anyone visits this location on west nash street, make sure you check your food or better yet dont even go. Worst...
Read moreRAW FOOD, BLACK MOLD & WRONG ORDERS! READ ON::: Have seen people get RAW CHICKEN! That is just unacceptable! Then today my boyfriend wanted to go because he was craving country ham, when we got his food it was WRONG. After they fixed it & he opened up his biscuit to check it, there was only 1 thin & tiny piece of ham & a cold slice of cheese! And we got an order of fries, they didn't even fill up the little bag they go in, he got half the amount we paid for! I got a smoked sausage biscuit & it was good except for parts of the biscuit were very hard. Then as I'm eating I look to my left & notice the wallpaper under the window coming off the wall, & behind it on the wall was BLACK MOLD!! At first I thought it was just dirt or something but then my bf & I actually looked at it much closer & realized that yes it was in fact MOLD! Mold in a restaurant? DISGUSTING!!! I understand that it is normal to have moisture around & below a window but this is in a restaurant & in a spot where people sit down to eat! It is highly noticable to employees when they are cleaning the table so I don't understand why they aren't doing anything about it!
