AOMI Sushi & Hibachi — Restaurant in Wilson

So I’ve purchased from this place before. It was decent. However I will not be spending my money again with them after this recent experience. I purchased via DoorDash on the 24th of February. My food didn’t come as I expected , also didn’t have the extra sauces I paid for. Almost $40 spent and I couldn’t eat it. I also couldn’t leave my home because I had no one to sit with my dad. So I had to order more food from another place while I waited for the manager to call me as advised when I called Aomi. Well they never called. I remembered and called today and the manager was very RUDE. Raising his voice at me, talking over me, yelling even. I had to tell him several times to watch his tone. Remind him he was speaking with a customer . A customer who mine you haven’t been saved her whole life and definitely don’t mind writing reviews. He continued to not take ownership of the business drppping the ball with my order on the 24th & got louder so I simply hung up. I don’t care how “good” your food is, you’re gonna talk with some respect to me and you going to take responsibility for YOU not preparing my darn food...

Searched through the whole city for a good hibachi restaurant that also has soup. We found this location and the meal we got was the one with shrimp and steak , then another one with shrimp, steak, and chicken they were great and well cooked their sauce is SOO good a bit sweeter than other hibachis but it was amazing we loved it and got a couple extra sides to take home. The crab Ragoon was also very good and among the best we have had. Just wish it had a special sauce to go with it other than the duck sauce we were provided. We also tried the shrimp tempura which was also good however it should be called a tempura sampler because it only came with two shrimp and had fried veggies with it (sweet potato, broccoli, and zucchini) we were not a fan of the sauce that came with it.The “clear soup” was great- we got it with no mushrooms and it was delicious- I finished mine and my wife’s. But the shrimp were great. We have added this restaurant on our return list....

Ordered chicken hibachi and chicken and steak hibachi, spring rolls, fried goya and a California roll. The steak was fatty and the fried rice was just white rice with soy sauce added in it, no veggies and the yum yum sauce tastes like straight sugar. The spring rolls were doughy on the inside like they needed a few more minutes and the avocado was brown as if it was a pre-made roll and not fresh. The fried Goya was the only thing that was good. I have lived in different places and tried hibachi in each and they have all tasted the same ....like hibachi. This restaurant however is not it. I don't know how it has 4 stars. Must be a Wilson thing. I...
