Our waiter this past Saturday night 10/20/18 in Trumbull for a party of 12, was disappointing to say THE LEAST. Considering our bill was paid including GRATUITY, he still stood there WAITING FOR A TIP. Here's a few tips: a waiter should NEVER tell a guest "I can't put your appetizer order in because we're still waiting for one more person", or "You can't order your meat well done!" Or LAUGH AT AN ELDERLY MAN (MY FATHER) WHEN HE ASKED FOR A SOCO MANHATTAN, saying "What is that??" Or, "Now that everyone is here, you have 2 minutes to choose an entree". Or the fact that my husband's burger was ordered PLAIN as he is allergic to onions & (understandably) it was busy so it was incorrect. Then it came back RARE, not well done. We asked him to fix it. HE ROLLED HIS EYES while walking away! When we finally got the burger, everyone had finished eating. This man has NO BUSINESS working with the public. He was completely disrespectful to our family. Even your good food couldn't bring us back there again though. Not...
Read moreThis location is very close to home in our town and has a very troubled history with various establishments in and out, even though this is Trumbull Center. When Bianco Rosso came in we were skeptical, as all of the former restaurants were nothing special. Well, this time it is VERY different. The updates decor is nice, while it is still a bit of a smaller place. The drinks were perfect, and we have particular demands. The apps were awesome and they split our salad when we just mentioned we were sharing that, which is a nice touch. The entrees were fantastic (beef short rib and the lamb shank), and the pistachio-chocolate desert was one of the best I ever had. This time the place should stick, despite a notoriously problematic landlord. We had a pleasant chat with the new proprietor and wished him very well. We were...
Read morefrom the beginning it seemed as if coming to the table was a chore. Asking for a drink order, asking for appetizers, main course, always seemed as if they were forcing us to comply to their schedule. As a table of 6 we ordered two bourbons, to reds, and two Pinot Grigio. I look across the table and the two Pinot at different colors, one was a rose. When the waiter came back we made him aware of the matter and he said "no. That is the Pinot". We had him hold up the two obviously different glasses of wine and took more than some time to admit the error. Remembering"Wine bar" as part of the restaurants name! The staff just wasn't on their game. To add insult to injury when they come back to the table with the bill the was an already added in 20% tip. Food was good... but that is to be expected at these prices. The...
