Tusk & Cup Fine Coffee — Restaurant in Wilton

I stumbled upon this gem looking for a coffee shop to study in for the evening. Luckily for me it was raining and late into the day so the venue was not crowded at all and they offered free WiFi! There’s a lot of space and a variety of seating options, so feel free to bring your friends along for a study session and reward yourselves with some hand made gelato afterwards. Alongside their coffee they offer a variety of pastries like the Magic Bar, which was simply delicious! I wish I could’ve warmed it up though. I believe they also have a very limited lunch menu and serve sandwiches and soups. It definitely took a moment to realize they even had a lunch menu, so perhaps make it more visible/obvious.

The cashier was very friendly and patient; great for when you can’t decide what to order. When I did finally order, the barista was also kind enough to remind me that they serve a traditional macchiato versus what I was expecting; the Starbucks style, and offered a suggestion more inline with what I wanted. Like the coffee and gelato here. Just want to leave a comment towards the male cashier standing behind the counter this afternoon, whose name is unknown. It's Friday afternoon at about 5:30pm. Walked in with two kids and my wife to celebrate kid's last day in school before summer. My 6yrs old daughter was excited and reached to the store gift cards on the countertop. This cashier was speaking with an attitude "No, put it back!", which could have been handled in a better way towards a six years old. Then while we are still talking with the lady, who's sweet, to figure out who wants what gelato, this guy standing behind the cashier machine was very impatient and pushing by asking "that's it? The fireplace coffee table is MAGNETIZED, as I found out by putting my laptop on there. If I had a regular hard drive, I would destroyed my data through degaussing.
