I go to this specific McDonald's a lot but the kiosk self checkout machines DO NOT WORK WELL! AT LEAST NOT FOR ME! Just a warning! I have tried to use it four times and every single time I try to check out at the self pay kiosk machines by the window, it takes my points for my order, BEFORE I EVEN PAID THEN IT FROZE AND CANCELED MY WHOLE ORDER THEN TOOK MY POINTS FOR THE REWARD I REDEEMED! Like ok yeah they are just McDonald's points but when I let the management team know about the kiosk and the situation, mind you, I didn't even ask for reimbursement of the points or the item I was trying to redeem, I really was just giving them a heads up in case maybe they want to... Idk, like, be nice and put a warning or "out of order" sign on the machine? ( All the machines have done this to me at this location, just wanting to warn those that are curious and want to avoid having your points taken away from some glitched kiosk! ) Also - bathrooms are usually locked and you need an employee to open the restrooms at this McDonalds and if they are being a judgement prude they will deny you bathroom entry unless you purchase something from the mcdonalds! Understandable but can be annoying and I think every one deserves access to a RESTROOM... Homeless usually outside but harmless. Drive thru fast, inside sometimes fast can be slow tho. Service is good and employees are nice unless you have a problem they don't want to deal with! They need more parking and need a sign for drive through that it needs to form this or that way cause the way people are coming in the drive thru in multiple different directions, people can crash, it's dangerous, trash dumpster too close in parking lot to restaurant, and there should be seating in front ( benches, chairs, anything? ) Lots of people - employees, homeless, even myself, use the cement surrounding the electric box close to the drive through for seating outside and there definitely should be trash cans outside - make em lockable if homeless going through the trash is a problem? Anyways - these problems are small and mostly manageable and easy fixes, McDonald's is mcdonalds and will always remain an easy stop fast food chain so I'm not picky about them too much but this is the one I Frequent and I call it "my McDonald's!" Lol. Also - @ THIS McDonald's : DONT CHARGE ME 80 CENTS EXTRA FOR OREO CHUNKS IN MY FRAPPE WHEN EMPLOYEES ONLY SPRINKLE THEM ON TOP! I ask for them mixed in not as a topping! & I'm sad theres no more dollar menu. Anyway I know I typed a bunch and this is a longer than needed review online of McDonald's but I was bored and wanted to get some review points as well. đ
OVERALL EXPERIENCE : Regular McDonald's, You Get What...
Read moreI went to this McDonalds to pick up food. I went through the drive thru, I am extremely hard of hearing but sometimes I still try to submit the order at the menu board. I sat there for awhile and wasnât able to determine if they acknowledged me or not, so I pulled forward to the window. In these situations, because I am hard of hearing and because of ADA compliance this is the method we use to submit our orders to be able to use the drive system just as other patrons. I sat at the window for several minutes with both the person at the window and his shift lead looking at me multiple times but never acknowledging me. He went to start to open the drive thru window slightly but closed it back again and continued ignoring me and instead engaging with the coworker. I waited a bit more because I was still considerate to the fact they may have been really busy even though I was the only person in line and the lobby was closed. After realizing they were not going to service me, I blew my horn. They looked, bit still made me wait before they finally opened the window. By this time I was extremely upset, the lady was yelling loud enough that I did hear her say âyou shouldâve announced yourself.â This establishment needs to retrain for sensitivity, ADA compliance and basic customer service. I should file a formal complaint after I was left to feel inadequate as a customer because of my inability to order as most other customers. MCDonaldâs is too big of a company and brand to have employees such as them place them in avoidable situations...
Read moreOM-Fricken-G! This review is for the McDonald's on Charleston and Lamb. Ever since they added a second speaker box line this place has gone to hell. Not that it was that great to begin with. When my family goes to the drive thru we have our order taken, go to the next window to pay, (so far so good) then we get to the window where we are supposed to be getting our food. Every time they tell us that we have to park in one of the 4 parking spots they have for people to wait for their food. Every single time!!! It doesn't matter if we have a small order or a huge order, every time we have to wait. I'm sorry but if you don't have the people or the process or whatever don't expand!!! That should be a basic business idea. It's not rocket science folks! My other pet peeve is that if you are going to work with the public and the public speaks one language and you don't understand or speak that language you shouldn't be working with the public! Now please don't misunderstand everyone has the right to be able to provide for their families no matter your race, color, or creed. We all came from somewhere else. It just bothers me when I can't order my food (or whatever) when I can't understand the person taking the order and they can't understand me. It never fails, the order is wrong. Hell, even if the person can be understood the order is wrong probably half the time. Unfortunately, this seems to be a running theme at many of the McDonald's here in Las Vegas. Many of the fast food restaurants are like that and are going to hell...
