Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Winfield

My husband and I took our daughter here last night.....very upset with the service. The wait was stupid long...yeah they were busy but not 20 minutes wait busy. When we finally get to the ordering area, Anthony was quite rude. His face was pissy and he made us feel very unwelcome. I ordered a kids chocolate cup for my daughter....he gave her twist instead. I ordered a large m&m twist. He gave me a cup of plain ice cream with a spoonful of candy dust on top. When my husband told the guy who was getting his cone that mine needed redone Anthony got even more pissy and rude demanding to know what was wrong with it. When I tried to talk to the manager all she would say is he's new and hasn't done his paperwork or training and 3 people called in....sorry lady but there's better ways to have handled that. He could have been cleaning or just scooping ice cream. He shouldn't have been making things if he didn't know how to. It came off as you are making excuses and just as rude as he is. We won't be back...

In summation, service was pretty good (especially compared to pre-renovation), goofed up my order, but some would say that it's partially my fault because I think the cashier just misunderstood me and I didn't check my receipt. The visit for those of you that like details: I went to pick up dinner for me and the girlfriend and snacks for some friends. The cashier was very patient, if not a little short. He got everything right on my order except for leaving the cheese off my girlfriends Jr. burger, but I should've checked the receipt. To remedy this I asked an associate who was bringing food up from the kitchen to go get me a slice of cheese which he proceeded to do without question, which I very much appreciated. I got six small fries and received no ketchup. I asked the (assistant?) manager, Max, and he got me the ketchup very quickly. The burgers were a little sloppy, but tasted alright. I stopped by for lunch today after a morning in Winfield. The experience was wonderful. The staff were prompt and accurate.

EXPERIENCE: The drive through line was maybe two cars before we ordered, but then one of them left so it instantly got shorter. I had 3 kids, my wife, and mother in law with me so the order was large and complicated. The fellow helped me and got it all rang up quickly and correctly the first time. We pulled forward, paid, and recieved our food plus extras, and then parked while they made us our 5 shakes. By the time our food was portioned out and ketchup applied, the shakes arrived, just as we ordered.

ORDER: Bag of burgers, cheeseburgers. 2 large fries. 2 Peanut butter cup shakes, small. 2 birthday cake shakes, junior [my son always wants the BLUE ice cream]. 1 vanilla malt, small [completely superior to vanilla shake].
