Last night, I had the worse experience at this cookout.
The lady who took my order was very nice and did so with so much class and understanding. I had not been at Cook Out for a while, so I was excited to try their menu and not go to McDonalds or Bojangles for the millionth time.
When I went up to the window to pay, I realize I got four drinks instead of three for my meals. Obviously, there was an error with the order so we ( the lady who took my order and I) were trying to sort out the issue.
This woman out of no where started shouting at me telling me what I had ordered and possible demanding me to take what I get. Of course, I wasn't going to subscribe to that nonsense and asked for a refund. So, they lost $20+ because of their hostility and rudeness.
I didn't engage in a shouting match with her because I had my family with me, but I let her know I could hear her so there was no need to shout.
Sometimes people don't know who they are dealing with, and feel they can talk down to people. And sometimes, people lose their blessings because of their bad attitudes.
You can see some people are not going anywhere in life, and when they are trying to pass their place with you, just end the conversation and move on.
Cook Out and other fast food chains needs to reconsider some people they employ because they will lose customers because of ignorance, hostility and simply, the rudeness of these people. I have the upper hand because I am spending the money, and it keep the establishments opened and pay employees. Think about that!
I am not even more offended than I am...
Read moreYikes! The drive-thru service was certainly not welcoming. As a first time patron, the vast menu is daunting and asking for clarification on items seemed to be a burden. (Yes, I mentioned that it was my first visit.) As did repeating my selection as it was not repeated back to me correctly. (She did, in fact, have it correct, but neglected to say it the way I requested so I asked 3x just to be sure. Her response was the incorrect order then “What else?”) Arriving at the window, I didn’t receive a “hello” or “thank you”. The cashiers are young, but have so much potential to be great. It’s management’s responsibility to properly train and place the best customer service operator at the window.
That being said, here’s how my order turned out:
my shake was tasty, but wasn’t much mocha flavored and the add’l chocolate I asked for wasn’t apparent, my burger did not come as ordered/paid for (ordered bacon, cheese, bbq sauce) but tasted good, fries were warm
I didn’t bother going back to have it corrected.
Overall, this experience was nothing to rave about and I seriously hope mgmt makes some changes to the...
Read moreATTENTION! Save your money and dine-out elsewhere. This Cookout is a freaking disgrace. I am utterly repulsed by the low quality of food that I received from this place. First off, this location has a sanitation score of an 85, which is extremely low for my taste. It is also ridiculously over priced, it cost me $16 for 3 hamburgers, 1 milkshake and a small fry. They forgot to include my fry with my order and when my family and I sat down to eat the burgers they were all burnt to a crisp! Yuck!!! There was literally burnt pellets all over the burger and it was super dry. What a waste of money. The milkshake had huge chunks of pineapple which made it difficult to suck through the straw. My family and I wanted a nice midnight snack but instead got burnt up burgers that tasted like cow meat that has been laying in the desert for 29 days!!! I am repulsed and super pissed that I wasted my money on this joke of a restaurant. Never ever ever again, I can't believe how much Cookout has fell off. This restaurant needs to be shut down ASAP. What a disgrace!!!! I wish there was a zero rating that I could...
