i heard about this place through coworkers and finally got to try it! as a big fan of nawab and indian food in general, i had high hopes for curry & noodle and they did not disappoint! this is 100% worth the drive from downtown winston, go, go, go!! the food and service is spectacular! i had the chicken tikka masala and my partner had the chicken korma.
we both agreed our dishes had more depth to the flavor profile and more robust flavor than the same dishes at nawab (no hate on nawab here, i will absolutely continue to go & sing their praises, but MAN ! you gotta try curry and noodle too!!), though itās definitely a close call.
the garlic naan was soft, warm, perfectly seasoned, and an appropriate serving size. we did eat the lunch special (served until 3 pm i believe) and the portions were perfect for me that day as i hadnāt had breakfast and was very hungry! on another day, i probably would have had small leftovers. they also gave us a complimentary app (a thin, crunchy⦠wafer? cracker? not sure what it was but it was delicious) as well as a complimentary dessert!
i meant to take a photo for my review and was so excited to dig in when it arrived that i forgot. i will definitely be putting curry & noodle into our eating out rotation, and canāt wait to try their thai dishes as well. do yourself a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been going there for a while now. I love their food and the customer service is good. But, I am a vegetarian and have been for years now. I ordered their veggie samosa a few weeks ago and didn't think anything of the filling. I simply assumed it was something soy related. I ordered the veggie samosa again, but this time the filling had potatoes. When I called to inquire about the filling the guy that answered was not understanding my question, he then passed the phone to the chef who was also not understanding my frustrations. Apparently I ate meat with the last order. My lifestyle reflects that of my beliefs. It was very upsetting to learn I ingested a meat product. And what was even more upsetting, was the language barrier. The people are always nice, but when a customer has to voice a complaint it should be heard and understood by someone in the establishment. Which is impossible. I have enjoyed their dishes, but will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been to Curry and Noodle twice within the last 2 weeks. each time i was satisfied with the food, Service, and the atmosphere! The food portions are generous for the price and always meets tasty expectations. The service is phenomenal with servers who are attentive and suggestive. Sachin, one of the servers here, leaves a great first and last impression of the overall environment of the restaurant, and never fails to do it with a big smile. The atmosphere is welcoming and smells amazing at all times. I highly recommend coming here if you are a fan of Indian food and just curry in general. My favorite meal is the Tikki Masada chicken dish, which is served with a decent rice portion, in which you have the choice of a spice level which ranging from 0-10, where 0 is not spicy, and 10 is pretty spicy. Personally, one of my favorite restaurants and could be yours too. Definitely suggest coming to find out. Thank you...
