Well, I hadnāt heard about this place, it was recommended to me by family Last week. Boy, do I wish that I had discovered this myself. I love Mi Pueblo, but thereās options, are like most restaurants, and is my usual go to. But after opening the Menu at this restaurant, you will ask yourself, āboy do I have days in the year to try all this?ā The service was great, nothing crazy. Our waiter brought us our food, than we saw absolutely none of her until our check, which I donāt mind. We were close to the kitchen, so if I needed anything I could have asked. But after taking one bite, I knew this was going to be the new spot! I ended up grabbing the QuesaBirria. Basically a Quesadilla & Birria Beef, served with rice & Broth to dip in. The broth was amazing, and complimented the queso so well. The rice was warm, flavorful, but a tad dry. The Beef was amazing! Juicy, just enough flavor to enjoy, and not overpower the cheese, and cooked to perfection! Definitely a Go to now! Next time Iāll get the Carnitas as that is my next Favourite. The drink menu was amazing as well, but did not get any drinks this visit. Definitely will give there Margaritas a try next time! 9.9/10 Must try if you live in the area, or are willing to travel a bit! Never been sad in a Mexican Restaurant (and never will!š), and that definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible. I mean TERRIBLE! I'm visiting a friend in town who recently moved to Winston. We decided to visit this place bc of convenience. Mistake! I ordered a dish with beans on the side and they were watery. I asked the waiter and he said "no, it's not" and proceeded to put his finger in my plate. Later, my friend got down to the bottom of her taco salad where she saw her ground beef was still pink. She complained and the waiter said "no, it's not under cooked." He then pointed us to the register where the manager and cashier argued us down that " they have never had complaints before." We paid for our undercooked, watered down food and left! Safe to say we willl never visit there again. I'm offended...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDecided to take my daughter for her first taste of fried ice cream, enjoyed the dinner but the reason we decided to eat there was because of them having fried ice cream. It was not fried. It was covered in whipped cream to hide the fact it wasnāt fried and was not covered in cinnamon and sugar like it is supposed to be. Thereās supposed to be a warm crunch and softly melted ice cream behind the texture of the crunch. These folks tried to get one past us and it is not appreciated. Probably had already shut off the oil to close up and didnāt want to have to turn them back on or something. I donāt know why you would not try to fry the fried ice cream or why you would think I...
