It was a total cluster mess about my order of a cold & a hot sub, 2 subs!Then the interference the MANAGER, JaMia, who wasn’t present during the time when they put the wrong sub in my bag 3 times! Apparently the cook forgot to prepare my hot sub, so after waiting 25 minutes, while the entire line behind me was served & gone, the manager appears & I say it’s about time to comp me this sub, 1/2 kiddingly, she went off on me that I was being RUDE & that my sub was now being prepared! When I explain how long I’ve waited, that I’d just like a refund for the hot sub, I didn’t want to wait any longer, she takes THE BAG WITH MY COLD SUB AWAY FROM ME, tells me I CANNOT HAVE THAT SUB, credits me the entire amount & tells ME TO NOT COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN, that I was rude! Btw, my husband had a similar experience with this same woman, so he wouldn’t go after the subs anymore!!! We get a Jersey Mikes at least once weekly, spend $30-$40, = $1,820 yearly, a solid customer for many years. I WILL NOT TOLERATE BEING ABUSED BY SOME IGNORANT MANAGER TYPE WOMAN WHO IS THE EXAMPLE OF RUDE ITSELF! Read moreI love jersey mikes but I will not be returning to this location. I went on my break, like I normally do, and they were very busy. I get that. After ordering with my boyfriend, who ordered a hot sub, the man forgot to make my sub. After I politely asked if he was making my sub, he said he had forgot and he’d make it right then. Not a big deal.
My issue is that once I got back to work I opened my sub and it was incorrect. I order the same thing every time, a number 9, I don’t even say the name of the sub. I also should add I don’t eat ham, so I would not have ordered this sub. I called back and the “assistant manager” answered. He happened to be the one that took my order. After telling me that I ordered something different and he definitely knew that, he refused to refund me anything. I was told I would have to bring the sub back, which I couldn’t do because I was at work now and my break was over. It just seems very ridiculous to me that I was offered no compensation for a sub I didn’t even want. I was really just perplexed that I was being told that I was wrong and I ordered a “club sub,” when I never said the name of the sub and only said number 9 (which is a club supreme by the way). I was at this location today (4/13) around 2:30pm and the gentleman in the red shirt whom I am assuming is the manager served us today. From the beginning he seemed to have an attitude, maybe he didn't want to be there? I ordered tuna mini's for 5.75 each, one bag of chips and a chocolate chip cookie, somehow our total came out to $19 and some change. We paid and I asked for a receipt because the total did not add up. He hesitated to give me the receipt. When I checked my receipt just as I expected he overcharged us for our sandwiches. All of this with the continued disgusting attitude might I add. We informed him of the overcharge and he processed our refund as we counted our change he then says in a very nasty tone "my calculations are correct". How can we expect his calculations were correct when he overcharged us the first time? Maybe he overcharged us on purpose? Who knows, but what I do know is from the moment we walked in he was rude. Its unfortunate that we live in a society where our own patronage isnt even deserving of kindness/respect. I refuse to spend my money at a place where I can't be treated with kindness from the very people I help pay.
