I tried to place an order online but due to my type of payment I had to either go to the store or call in. So I called in and placed my order. I was told it should take 15 minutes. Perfect just enough time for me to drive over there. I get there and pay for my food and I start waiting being told it should take just a few more minutes. I wait a little longer and then one of the cashiers ask me if I had been helped I said yes but I am just waiting for my food, I've already placed an order. She checks on it and says it should just be a minute. Then I get asked again about a minute or two later by another girl if I had been helped and I said I was just waiting on my food. She looked around more in detail and found that my order receipt for which they use to make my order had been thrown out meaning they hadn't made my order yet. I said okay that's fine and was given a cup for free to get a drink. Okay that's great as well. I was a little upset when I was there about how long it was taking and that the employees making the food didn't seem to be making it but once it was all explained to me I felt better. Read moreI have been to a lot of Panera Bread restaurants and this is the worst I have ever been to. I always do curbside pickup or in store pickup as I order ahead of time. I order lunch from this location at least one time a week. A lot of times I am missing things from my order. Most of the time when I am missing something it is a spoon in which I need to eat anything I ever order from here. My most recent problem is when I order a curbside pickup and set a certain time for pickup, they get it ready way too early. For example, today I ordered soup and a grilled cheese at 11:00. I set a pick up time for 12:05. At 11:20 I got an email saying my food is ready. This has happened multiple times. They need to pay more attention to detail and also not get curbside pickups ready way before the customer is coming to pick up. I called on my way to the location to ask if my order would be warm at pickup as I paid $15 for my food, and would like it warm at pickup. The lady hung up on me the first time I called. The second time she said she would put it on the warmer. My soup was warm, but my sandwich felt like it just came out of the refrigerator. Read moreSo I ordered breakfast through the Panera app for delivery. When the driver got here (they deliver through Door Dash), he did not have the 2 smoothies that went with my order. When questioned, the driver stated they did not "hand" him any drinks, only the bag. I know this is not right, because I usually pick up my own orders in the morning, and they have the "to go" orders setting by the door and you just grab and go. So I called the Panera store. Hannah (sorry if I am spelling it wrong!) answered the phone, super friendly and very understanding. After I explained what happened, she said she was actually the catering coordinator and was heading over to main campus (which is a couple miles from where I am located) and she would bring me my smoothies. She was supper kind from the very start of the phone call, all the way through when she delivered my drinks. Very helpful, and pleasant! She did not have to bring me my order, she could have very well made any other decision (cancel my order, make me wait for another door dasher, etc.) but she did not, she went ABOVE and BEYOND her job duties, and her customer service skills are impeccable.
