Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

Horrible! I love Jimmy Johns, but this was my first visit to the store on Reynolda. And I was thrilled to see a drive-thru! I purchased 2 subs and took them home. They were SO hard and stale, you could barely bite into it! I couldn't believe it, I've never had any issues with Jimmy Johns. At the store nearest my home, I also will purchase and take home the "day old" bread. The bread today was way beyond "day old" bread......maybe 5 day old bread.

I was thinking that the drive-thru was a tricky way to get rid of the stale, inferior product. I called and voiced my complaint to Vince the assistant mgr.. Of course he was adamant that the bread was fresh. (It wasn't). He offered to issue me a store credit, but I really wouldn't want any sandwich they may offer me, after I've complained. I do hope they can get it together here. Maybe they should talk to the management at the Stratford Rd location and the Hanes Mall...

I’ve visited this location sporadically since opening because of the lack of bread quality. I have yet to figure out the best time to get fresh bread from this location. I’ve been served hard bread first thing in the morning, at lunch when the store is fairly busy, and in the evening. Today was the worse which prompted this review. The bread was hard AND crunchy. I called the store and tapped on the bread to allow the shift manager to hear. I don’t think bread should have an audible sound…Advice?

Do better or close up shop. A sub should be one of the easiest things NOT to mess up. The only reason I have even gave one star is because the team member working the drive thru was very polite and...

It's a great place to work and a decent enough place to order food from. The chips are okay. The subs are pretty good. Although I wouldn't order food from it daily. I also am not too fond of the texture of the chips. The overall cleanliness is amazing. It remains spotless. The entire staff is very positive and welcoming. It's the best place I've ever worked at. But I don't really exceptionally like the food all that much.
