Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

I want to clear the record. My family and I had visited CiCi’s a few weeks ago and the visit was not really a good one. I had the opportunity to speak with the Manager in great detail and at the end of the conversation, he asked me if we would be willing to give them a SECOND CHANCE, saying that He knew his team was capable of doing much better than I described.

I believe in second chances and we love pizza, so tonight, we gave them a second chance and boy was he right! His team is very capable of doing better than our previous visit. As it so happens, they did 100% better and really impressed us.

I’m going to chalk the previous visit up to they had a really off night and were short staffed (can happen to any business on any given day). But tonight, they impressed me and my family. Everything about this visit tonight was great! The pizza was tasty and fresh. The selection was great. The drink area was dry and clean. The salad bar was phenomenal, and the manager personally brought out our personal favorites. One could tell that they strive to make their customers happy, and we left happy this evening. We want to say how much we appreciated their efforts. They did not go un-noticed.

We’re new to Winston Salem and CiCi’s is the only restaurant we have visited so far as a family, as I am a pretty picky eater and can be really hard to please. Tonight was the last time I will be visiting this location because I was highly disappointed, my family and I have been going here for years and it’s just been going downhill. One of the more popular pizzas is the spinach Alfredo and it seems to be the one they make the least. My family absolutely loves it and every time we go in we order one But we’ve noticed that they treat us differently. I’m not sure if it’s just a coincidence because it’s happened more than a few times or whether it’s discrimination. I understand it’s a high demand topping pizza they used to give you a buzzer and bring you the pizza if you request one but now either they give you half of the pizza or put it out on the bar and not let you know it’s there. The reason why I think my family is being discriminated against is because we will order a pizza and it’ll be put on the bar but at the same time we will see other families order pizza and the manager or other staff will personally deliver the pizzas to their table. I don’t understand why this keeps happening but I’m definitely done with it and will no longer be going here. Another thing I noticed is they leave pizzas waiting on the bar for a long time and store the fresh pizzas under the bar. By the time they bring them out they’re cold and not as good. I hope no one else has been experiencing these things when they visit this location but for us unfortunately it has happened one...

The first time I ordered there, the said I need to hurry up to get there for pick up because the close in 30 minutes. Ok, fine I live right down the street. I get there and realize on of my orders of wings were not there. The girl said, I'm sorry we will prepare them for you now. (Keep in mind, I was told to hurry). So they prepare the wings and the cook leaves them on the counter on a sheet like pan, and the lady cleaning with the cleaning towel puts the towel on half of the tray and she yelling to someone in the back over my wings. I pointed to the wings when the manager came out and explained to them what I just witnessed and said I just want my money back for those wings. His excuse was "yeah sometimes we have to talk pretty loud in here."🤨 Not acknowledging the dirty towel on my food and yelling over the food. Then yesterday, because everything else my family suggested was closed, I ordered from them again . I ordered a deep dish spinach pizza, the pepperoni rolls, and mild wings. The pizza was on the regular crust, it was cold and stiff. I rolls were hard and the wings were just ok. With all that being said, I'll go home and make a sandwich before I eat...
