Short: Avoid this location because they're ALWAYS CLOSED DURING BUSINESS HOURS!! Any business that goes out of their way to avoid customers is NOT a business you should to give your money to. The food is good for the most part but the customer service is absolutely abysmal!
Long: I used to really like this location but the customer service has ruined my experience permanently. First of all, this location NEVER honors their buisness hours, they either open up way later or close way earlier than they are supposed to, sometimes closed in the middle of the day. I went there Saturday night at 8:20 p.m. and they were already closed, even though they're not supposed to close until 9:30 p.m. well over an hour after they actually closed. The staff never wants to work and do their jobs, they often are conversating amongst other employees, on their phones, or hiding from customers trying to appear closed. Food ingredients are mostly fresh but the way they're handled is less than appealing, a lot of cross contamination going on here. The meats are decent and the cookies are rarely fresh but still decent. The restaurant always looks dusty, not as clean as you might see in other locations. There's always hand prints, dust, and other debris all over the glass window for the food making it look foggy. I've only been a handful of times over the past year and every visit progressively got worse. Last night after them being closed over an hour early almost pushed me to the point of never giving Subway my business again but there are other locations and it wouldn't be fair to not give them a chance. I decided to go to the North Point Blvd location near Food Lion and the Asian Bistro, and I was pleasantly surprised. Despite it being so late they had all fresh ingredients, tender juicy meat, loaded my sandwich up, had great customer service, everything was neat and clean and they were actually open until 9:30 p.m. like they're supposed to be, I was so pleasantly surprised! I'll likely never go back to the Reynolda Rd location solely due to the terrible customer service. I would advise anyone thinking about eating here to steer clear and just go to ANY other Subway you can find and I guarantee you'll have a much better experience. My wife and I have had a few homophobic encounters at this location as well from staff members and we have always felt incredibly uncomfortable everytime we go. We have been stared at and not spoken to, asked personal and invasive questions about our relationship and personal lives, and overall had incredibly awkward moments. We feel rushed and unwelcome.
